Dogs Doing Great!
Our dogs seem to enjoy this product, it's recommended to me by a small pet shop who only carries products they feel good about, and my 16 year old medium size dog has been doing great on this. I give her this, dry food, some meat and vegetables, and doggy vitamins.. We also use the Lamb by the same company.

Absolutely no toxins!
It's not what I like, but my small dog LOVES this dog food. There are absolutely NO toxins in this food!Before with other store bought foods, my dog was having seizures. He has not had a seizure since starting this food about 45 days ago. Thank you, Thank you!

My dogs love it. More importantly
My dogs love it. More importantly, it does not contain CARRAGEENAN...a bad shelf stabilizer that causes inflammation in the gut. It's used widely in all kinds of human and pet products so read your labels people!

The best dog food ever
The best dog food ever. My pup just loves the bison. Her nose pricks up excitedly every time I open a can. It's a shame this flavor is more expensive.

Ingredients have changed for NutriSource Heartland Select
For the past few months I had been ordering this food for my two dogs, and they loved it. They are picky eaters and one is diabetic. It was so difficult to find a grain free, low-glycemic canned dog food and I chose this one because it was meaty with no unnecessary carbohydrate fillers. It was hard to afford the high price but worth it because they eagerly ate it and it was not wasted. Unfortunately the manufacturer recently changed the ingredients and the cans I received on 12/1/2017 contain chickpeas and cranberries. My dogs refuse to eat it. The current ingredient list on this page is incorrect and misleading, since it does not state that it contains chickpeas and cranberries. Dogs do not need chickpeas. They are cheap, unhealthy-for-canines, incomplete-legume-protein added by manufacturers to increase the protein content using less meat, and increase their profits. Cranberries are also unnecessary filler (fructose-sugar), and likely the reason my dogs now don't like this food. Cranberries taste bitter and my dogs don't like any dog food that contains any berries. Now I have to spend a lot of time searching for a replacement dog food, and although it was a Prime order, the cans cannot be returned, so I am out $33.00. Dogs and I are disappointed and unhappy with this dog food manufacturer for changing their dog food to increase their profits. I don't have time to write reviews for everything I buy, and I don't like to do negative reviews. However, this is very important to me and my dogs. Buyer beware.
