Over my 43 years as a radio, mobile and nightclub DJ, equipment retailer and installer and rack builder, I've used a multitude of 19" rackmount gear and panels. Panels like these are the perfect way to fill blank spaces in a rack OR to mount input and output sockets, fans, jacks, power inlets/outlets and other rack features (if you have the necessary tools and skills). These panels compare to those available at, say, Guitar Center, at a price that's hard to argue with. Not heavy steel, these feel like aluminum, with side brakes (corners) to keep them rigid. The finish is more of a grey than jet black, but seems to stay put when the screws are tightened and, later, removed.In short, they're a simple product that every band, DJ or professional Studio needs, and these are decent quality blanks at a great value. Stock up!

Very nice panels, made of thick steel with rolled edges and powder coated with a nice black finish. Fits my racks perfectly and a good value for 5 of these panels. No complaints, these should last forever in a 19 inch server rack.

Not bad for $40, I wouldn't call these black though.

Great if you have a lot of empty space on your racks. They are pretty thick gauge metal, and has break angles on both edges for rigidness. So 50 bucks is good deal for how much you get. And if they are on sale its even better. Very happy with these.

These are well made, and are reasonably thick. The powder coat finish is uniform and consistent. The color is a proper data center black. And the holes are in the right places. Can't ask for more. Five stars.

These are bent steel panels, not flimsy flat metal blanks. These will add significant strength to any rack system due to their heavy-duty construction. Recommended.

I'm using these as spacers in my server rack to keep dust from accumulating on my equipment, and to improve airflow. These blanks fit my 19" rack perfectly, the holes line right up with my rack's holes, and they're exactly what I needed. nice price, Recommended.

I ordered the 2U blanks and they are everything you'd expect: heavy gauge steel that is powder coated without any detectable blemishes. These blank panels are well-made. Recommended.
