The media could not be loaded.  The patterns this makes with the lasers are exceptional. Unlike other lasers that look like 3 yr old drew a heart or square, these patterns are complex geometric shapes. Set it up on my DMX system and good to go. The star field effect is wonderful. I have another laser like this and a super fog machine and all the little beams going everywhere are awesome. This thing is a hell yes and way cheaper than other name brand systems. Don't waste your money on one of those. Get 3 of these and still have beer money.

Initially, I was searching for more of a centerpiece light/laser for my DJ rig. I tried a few that ended up having DMX issues and then I decided to switch gears. This light really fills the role of setting a vibe/mood in a venue when projected at the ceiling. Combine this with some subtle wash lights and you've got a really cool looking room scene. The DMX mapping allows for individual RGB laser control, rotation speed, overall dimming, and strobe. Seems to be well built metal construction (including hanging bracket) and very compact. Overall, an excellent alternative to more expensive "H2O" type projector lights.

These are not that bright! They will work for a small room or bedroom but nothing beyond that.

Nothing to dislike - unless you think it might be TOO bright. Great motion. Easy to mount. Easy to use.

Pretty much useless without a remote control. Doesn't even remember your last program selection when power cycled. Has some nice designs though. Unless you're going to use DMX or climb up and reset it in Auto mode, I'd look elsewhere.

So I like this unit; small and reasonably quiet against the other heads I have.It has 4 laser "heads": 1 with B and 1 R with a rotating starfield filter, another Red and a Green with an "Effects" filter. For DMX it 7 channels: Master Dimmer, R, G, B, Strobe, Prism Rotation and function. This combination means for "Starfield" you can only have blue; and if you want Blue + Red w/o effects you'd have to tape over the "effects" red transmitter ( which is what we'll probably do given our use-case ).For the "Effects" filter, it has some pretty cool ones; however it's not indexable so you can't choose what you want; just have to either pre-set and hope.For enhancements i'd recommend: a DMX channel per "head" so you can control starfield side independent of the effects side; I'd add separate channels to control the "Starfield" and "effects" fitlers, and I'd recommend enhancing so you can index the effects filter to get what you want.Over all the unit is gonna be great for our needs and i'll update this review once we've used it in practice.
