Had no issues when used to turn on and off my xmas light.

This works as advertised, I have an older model, about 3 years old that still works perfectly, the new one is a bit smaller…more streamlined. The start up was fast and easy.

have an above ground pool that requires a pump filter... I HATE getting up and manually turning this thing off and on, since it doesn't have a built in timer.. why? who knows why... that would be a great feature! But alas, this thing comes along and does the job really well, and works on wifi. no complaints so far, other than sometimes the range isn't as good as I would like... but that's more than likely an issue with my wifi, than with the device itself.

First smart plug I’ve owned that’s made specifically for outdoor use. Have an elaborate holiday lighting arrangement around the roof and walkway leading up to my front door. This wi-fi outdoor smart plug will enable me to set up some cool Alexa scenes for turning on the lights and full size singing elf during certain times of day and weather events. Pairing it to my mesh wi-fi network went very smoothly, considering I have the smart connect option enabled (Combines the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands into one.)Each outlet is recognized as independent devices. They’re also grounded, so I don’t have to worry about power spikes unexpectedly stopping my light show. Being fully enclosed in a waterproof stand-alone housing gives me more flexibility on where to sit it.Developer did a really nice job designing this wi-fi outdoor outlet to perform well in any weather condition. Highly recommend this product.

We use this to control our landscape lighting so it turns on at dusk and off at dawn and it works flawlessly. My only complaint is that most outdoor outlets that I have seen where I live are placed horizontally and within a weatherproof housing, so the only placement for this smart plug blocks the other outlet. At least it has two outlets on it, but I would like to have access to the other outlet in my wall as well.

This thing is awesome for outdoor light displays especially in winter. Just make sure your wifi will reach to where you are setting it up.

I have a lot of string lights outside on a dusk/dawn timer, but they stay on all night, and I have to keep replacing bulbs. There's not a much better option on the old timer that is also hard to get to. Now I can set a schedule, keep them on when we want, save some electricity, and also not be distracted at night as the light enters the house somewhat.

There's a lot of these types of product out there, so I will cut to the chase. It is great for these reasons:1. It is incredibly easy to set up (make sure you're using 2g and not 5g wifi).2. It uses Smart Life app, which connects to A TON of other devices, and fully integrated with Alexa (and I'm assuming Google home, though my house is an Alexa /Amazon setup)3. The 2 outlets are independently controlled.4. You can set a timer with the app.
