I had bought this and I loved using it with my g-nib. The overall design of it was pretty and the grip was good, but the problem of it was that my nib would not for the life of me come out of the flange. They replied saying they would refund some for the broken nib from me yanking it out with pliers and today in the mail, I saw that they had sent me another one! I'm guessing to replace the one I have. I didn't know that they were going to do that! The replacement holder had a better flange and I didn't have to bust out the trusty pliers. In love with it even more now!

Well made. I just started learning calligraphy and this was a recommended holder. I like the feel of the wood, it's light but sturdy.

This was only my second dip pen so I can't speak as a professional or even an experienced hobbyist, but I love this product. It's beautiful, it feels and looks like it should cost much more than it does, and on top of that it's worked great for me for over a year. Not much more to say than that.

This is a very nice looking nib holder. Its very light weight and I do wish it was just teensy bit heavier feeling. The flange was also a little hard to get in and out the first time, but it's been fine since.

I have been wanting to get one of these for a while as I recently got into Calligraphy. I must say I am not disappointed. Came very quickly and was well worth the cost.

I’m pretty new to pointed pen calligraphy but have always wanted to buy a wooden oblique holder. A lot of people have been telling me that it’s a totally different feel from plastic straight holders. This holder was affordable so I was afraid that it might not be a good one, but it’s actually perfect for a beginner like myself!! I love how my Nikko G nib fits and also how my sumi ink flows with it. It’s awesome! Just look at how pretty my lettering turned out.

I’ve been doing calligraphy for a little over a year and just purchased this as it is my very first oblique nib holder. Allow me to inform you that it is an amazing tool for calligraphers to use! It wrote on calligraphy paper quite smoothly and my lettering looks smoother in general! I’d definitely recommend this seller to anyone looking to purchase a high quality nib holder.

It is extremely light-weight and the weight is not distributed throughout the pen well. It has a matt finish that feels rough and uneven in particular areas, specifically sections of detail around the tail. As a result of both the textile feel, weight and finish of the pen I would advise to avoid this product. I have seen this particular oblique pen being listed by different sellers and at varying prices from $5 - 20 AUD (amazon and ebay). It is worth $5 at best, on the account that the flange is acceptable.
