Solid boot...Go half size down
Great looking boot, solid build, still lightweight and great out the box. Originally got a 10.5 thinking they were true to size. Nope Half size down at 10 is perfect. Got the black ones for work in package delivery. Great for ankle support with the heel lock. Changed the insole to Dr. Scholls work comforts. Way better than the ones they came with. Overall great out the box. Can wear these all day no problem. Maybe a day to break in walked around the house with them outside did some different movements very flexible. Only time will tell to see how they hold up.

Extremely poor durability
I'm writing this review on 9-12-24. I purchased these boots in June and received them on 6-19-24. I got less than three months of use out of these before the sole started separating and worn holes in the sides, see pictures. I did not wear them every day either. I work as a land surveyor and generally get about a year out of a pair of keen boots. I decided to try a different model other than my tried and trued keen Pittsburgh, that was a mistake.Durability and quality of this model is extremely poor and I would avoid at all costs. I do not work in an extreme environment, essentially hiking in the woods and some paved surfaces.Water proofing lasted about a month, sole separation started around 2 months with holes starting shortly after.Worst shoe purchase to date. If I could rate lower than one star I would.

Well-built hiking boots that need a couple minor tweaks
I've spent the last 4 summers wearing Keen Newport sandals every day and absolutely love them. I needed a pair of hiking boots and I was pleased to find that Keen makes them. I bought these boots in size 14 Wide...yup, I have big feet!Pros: The boots appear to be very well made. The stitching is tight and precise. There is ample wrap around protection for the toes. There is a good amount of space in the toe box so my toes don't feel pinched after a long hike (this has been a big problem for me with other brands of hiking boots) but I also don't feel the fit is too loose. The sole traction pattern gives good grip on loose, stony ground and on sloping trails. I appreciate the good ankle support. And I think they look good too!Cons: The insoles do not offer much cushioning or arch support. I will upgrade with quality replacements soon. I can feel rocks that I step on up through the soles. It's not painful or anything, but I can feel the pressure on my feet. This bothered me at first but I soon got used to it and quickly found it easy to ignore. I'm hoping that new insoles will help with that. The provided laces are way too short! There's barely enough extra length to tie them and there's no way I could double knot them if I wanted to. So I need to replace those as well. This probably won't be a problem with boots that are a smaller size.I rated these 4 stars because of the insoles and laces. If those items were better, I would have given these boots 5 stars.

Keen is the best
I have ten-year old Keen steel toes that are still safe and comfortable so I looked for Keen in a hiking boot. Very pleased. Comfortable and well made, my feet stay dry and cozy.

They’re Keens!
They are Keens so not much else needs saying, well made, fit is as expected, comfortable out of the box, some of the best going!

Possibly a lemon
I’ve had these boots for a little over two weeks and about 20 miles of trials on them. They fit great and feel good on my feet. Unfortunately one of the eyelets has come apart so I cannot tie the laces. It could be just these boots but not sure. I will be returning these.

Great all around boot
This is my second pair. First pair I got from Cabelas. Lasted almost a year to the day. I work outdoors and am not required to have a steel/safety toe. Good breath ability on hot summer days and good insulation on the frigid ones. I walk between 3-5 miles per day on gravel, asphalt, and grass. I did not have any trouble with my feet getting wet as these are advertised as waterproof. I’m not in ankle deep water but a few inches and just over the toe is just fine. Never broke a string and never changed an insole. I had to get new ones as I had worn out the tread on the bottom and water would actually seep through. I was very pleased with my first pair and I imagine this new pair will be just the same. It’s hard for me to find a comfortable pair of boots that I can wear everyday. If you want a good hiking/walking boot. These are for you.

Fits according to size chart
Keens are a great shape for my feet as they have a wide toe box. I wanted 9.5 womens so I ordered the 8 men's. Fits as it should. My last hiking keens lasted over 10 years. Kept them till there were holes in the bottoms. Very comfortable. Good return policy incase they don't fit. Came next day very fast delivery

Excelentes materiales
