They are just OK
They were I'd say medium/hard to install but part of my problem was we have trim that sticks out pretty far so I had to make little blocks of wood to mount the hardware to so they were out far enough from the trim. What I dislike the most is the fact that you have to make your own head rail covering. I used the box that the item came in and the left over panel pieces to make a rail covering then I hot glued it to the rail. It was a PITA for sure and I'm not super fond of the way it looks. The blinds close easily and are pretty but they look "cheap" when you look at them to long. My kids have not torn them down yet so that's a plus.

Easy install for a budget item
The most challenging part for me was installing the "anti fray" clips. After spending 15 minutes of cursing and struggling to get the clips onto the edge of the curtains without destroying the material, I had a brainstorm...I placed two credit cards into the clip. Spread them apart, and slid that gap over the edge of the curtain. Pull the cards, and hey! 15 minutes of frustration became 15 seconds and it was Cold Beer Time!Overall decent quality, for what we paid for them. The install was actually much easier than I had planned. Putting them over a door in an exterior wall made the mounting easy, since I could just drive coarse thread screws into the plywood and the brackets hold quite strongly. We'll see how it holds up to daily use. I do have some concerns about longevity, especially with kids and pets involved.

Absolutely Gorgeous
These blinds are an answer to those who do not like the old vertical blinds. The mica color has a bit of a sheen with hints of gray and beige. The installation was a chore however my husband finally got it. As the others stated it definitely need a valance to cover the rail system. All in all worth the money.

Excellent
Easy to install. They keep the heat and sun out. Way easier with 2 people to put the bottom clips on. Easy to to cut. Just great all around. You'll need a valance up top, they do look a bit bare but just ordered 2 more pairs for the other patio doors.

bit more sparkly then we anticipated - otherwise good
Easy to install relatively - top looks a little unfinished with no valence - little concerned about longevity - little more sparkly then anticipated (we got the mica+ color) but blocks the light well and looks nice overall.
