Classic Laptop Tote Bag - X-Large Vegan Leather Womens Shoulder Bag for Laptops up to 15.6 Inches

I have had this bag for a few weeks and have used for travel for a few days and so far this is a great bag.Overall this is a really great bag and I would recommend that you purchase. See below for some specific details.PROs-nice soft material and color is as expected.Handles are strong and well reinforced.Fits a lot of stuff. I had my laptop, kindle, mouse, charger, small purse, phone, pens, and water in the bag.Has a great main zipper to keep everything inside.Also has some pockets on the outside. On one side a zippered pocket and the other side has three, non-zippered different sized, pockets.Fits perfectly under the seat on a plane.IMPROVEMENTS-some areas that could be improved. The inside material seems a little cheap however is holding up so far.The cell phone slot is a little tight but works (samsung s7).The velcro for the laptop doesnt align perfectly to keep it tight. However when aligned it still keeps the laptop in place.

I bought this bag in April 2023, and in less than two months it looked awful. I had bought the exact same bag in 2017, and it held up beautifully - clearly the 2023 one I bought is much poorer quality than the 2017 bag. The one I bought in 2017 was used daily for work - usually overpacked and thrown around A LOT as I travelled. It held up so nicely that I decided to treat myself with a brand new one in April 2023 by buying the exact same bag, since the old one was showing some minor signs of age. What a disappointment! The new bag, treated a little more gently than the old bag, lasted less than 2 months before showing much more wear and tear than the one that is five years old! In the photos, the bag that looks beat up is the NEW one. So, in photo 1 it is the top bag, and in the next three photos it is the one on the left. The last photo is of the new bag. It's so bad that I brought the old bag back out and am using it instead of the new bag, which is relegated to the closet. I do not recommend this bag now or, if you do get it, watch for signs of premature wear and tear so you can send it back before the window closes.

I absolutely love this bag. It has a nice slender appearance but has plenty of room inside and plenty of compartments for organizing. The pebbly faux leather looks great and all seams, etc. appear to be of good quality. It looks like it was much more expensive than the actual cost. There is an outside zippered pocket on one side and an open flat pocket on the other side. Either could easily fit a small calendar type book or wallet or anything not too bulky. A tall glass water bottle fits in the front open pocket without being floppy but it makes the bag a bit bulky. The handles are long enough to use as a shoulder bag but you can also carry it by the handles without dragging on the ground. The inside has a center padded compartment for laptop. There are large sections on both sides of the laptop that are very roomy for folders, books, etc. I fit all my paperwork and notebooks plus keep my laptop, power cord and a medium size calculator, calendar, cell phone, small wallet purse and water bottle in the bag.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is a beautiful bag. It feels like good quality, heavy duty, and it is a generous size. Nice, really large outside pockets for a tablet or larger phone, plus a zippered outside pocket for keys or glasses or whatever. The only thing I didn't like was that the nylon laptop sleeve inside the bag doesn't come out at all. If it were velcroed in that would be better, but it is sewn to the lining of the bag. I feel like the bag would have more versatility if that was able to be removed. Other than that, this is a really nice bag. I am quite happy with my purchase. I may go back and get another one for myself.

UPDATE 9/2019: I have used this bag for 3 years and the lining is just starting to tear inside. For pretty heavy usage with a laptop that only barely fit inside the bag, I'd say that it was a good bag/laptop case for me. I'm going to try a new case that has a USB charger on it this time, but I may well buy another one of these if the next bag doesn't meet my needs. This bag was pretty heavy by the time I had a large laptop, papers and a spiral notebook for work, pens and pencils, a tablet, phone, wallet, keys, laptop charger, headset, battery pack, mouse, whatever else I dumped into my bag on any given day. I have three different offices that I work out of, so I pretty much carried all of my work supplies from place to place in this bag.9/2016: This bag is huge for me (I can't stand to carry a purse), but it just barely fits my 15.6" Dell laptop. The first couple times I put my laptop in the bag it was pretty difficult to coax it in, but the foam padding has been getting used to the computer over time and it slips in easier now. I do like that it's easy to carry my laptop and any files or notes and the charging cable for the computer with me whenever I'm not in the office. Lots of room. The front pocket is great for slipping my phone, wallet, keys, etc into for easy access.

bag is fine, but it is simply too large for me. I should have read the dimensions, but even then, it would have been hard to gauge. it's both too tall and too long, and overall too large for my frame (I am 5'3"). It looks ridiculously large on my frame. I have a 14" notebook computer and need something smaller. Other than the size, it would be perfect, and wish it just were smaller. has good pockets and although not leather, looks fine. Ideally, I would like something that also is a little nicer and looks a little more classy (i.e., leather) so I could take it on interviews with confidence, but for the price it's great, and it's functional, which is the most important thing for me. If there were a slightly smaller version of this, it would be perfect for my needs and would buy it in a heartbeat.
