Last night was my first night using this pillow and let me tell you how good I slept! I usually wake up every 1-2 hrs due to my carpal tunnel, despite being braced... Y'all, I slept 8 hrs!!!! only getting up 1x and it wasn't even cause of my carpal issues! It's been YEARS since I slept a whole night getting up only 1x, I seriously want to cry over the amazing sleep I got. I had no issues sliding down it or it moving. I stayed in place, it stayed in place. I can't wait for tonight!!

Plusses: Well made and firm. Takes a bit of adjustment to sleeping "wedged". I have mine on the lowest incline and also covered it with a light weight fleece blanket, so I can easily wash the blanket with my sheets and preserve the custom cover. There was a slight odor upon unwrapping, which dissipated within 24 hours. I believe it helps with my breathing issues - rather early to tell, but overall I would buy it again.Minuses: First night - not that comfy and woke up way down at the base of the wedge. Researching the problem, discovered this is an issue for quite a few people and the best solution seems to be stabilizing some type of "foot stop" at the bottom of the bed to keep you from sliding. Following other's advice, I propped a couple of pillows toward the foot of my bed and secured them with a cross sheet tucked under the mattress to hold them in place. Seems to be helpful, and my 3rd night on the wedge was much better. There is definitely a period of adjustment, but I think it's worth the effort for me. (P.S. I know it looks like the wedge and the foot stop are pretty close together, but I'm very short - 5' tall.)On one other note, I do wish they had included the illustration card of all the ways this can be used. Knowing that might come in handy, I just printed one out from the site.

I didn't hold out much hope for this when I bought it but much to my surprise it actually works. Not sure what good the round piece is for and have taken it off (it might work better if you could position it anywhere on the face of the wedge by having Velcro the whole length of the main wedge). Didn't think the wedge would stay in place but it seems to stick pretty good to my flannel sheets (not sure how it would work on cotton) so no adjusting it during the night. It holds it's shape and doesn't squish down flat when laid on. All in all it works good and helps me to sleep and would have gotten a higher rating if it had been a few inches wider for us larger fellows. I was sleeping in the lazy boy most nights but this has got me back sleeping in my bed.

I've been looking for another wedge for a while. My last one was too long and not high enough and the foam wasn't the most comfortable even with using a fairly thin down-type pillow.I had recently bought a mattress topper made of the same material and since I was so happy with it, I thought I'd try a wedge made of the same stuff. Very comfortable and I like being able to adjust it but the cover, while nice, slides around pretty easily. If you have a headboard or your bed is right against the wall, that won't be a problem of course. More of a problem is that I tend to slide down it during the night so by morning I'm much lower than I'd like. Working on some fixes to help with that since it is a great item.

This purchase was made for my elderly mother, who is complaining about back pain while sitting in bed. I was overwhelmed initially when purchasing the pillows with so many to choose from and such a variety of price range. I finally decided on this product and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint and I didn’t have to pay over $100 to achieve the quality and comfort found with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Does what it is suppose to do comfortably

My Dad has congestive heart failure and cannot sleep lying down because he cannot breath. I bought him this pillow to help him sleep upright a bit more comfortably. He didn't want me to buy it or be a burden, but now he uses it everyday. It really helps him sleep and it's affordable. Plus the cover comes off so it can be washed. Don't hesitate, just get it for your loved one if they are in need. It's worth having a few more days on earth being comfortable and rested rather than being miserable.
