This knee wraps, comprised of elastic polyester, when properly used, can dramatically improve knee safety during heavy squatting. The thick fabric protects knees warm and absorb the load on tissues consisting the joint partially to prevent the knees from injury. The Velcro design allows the adjustment of the positions, the tension and equivalently the length of the wrap. You may either wrap it spirally or in a crossover (figure "8") manner. It is suggested that the wrap is fastened but not wrapped too tightly around your knees to keep the blood flow. What is more important is the fact that the wraps give an enhancement of least a 5-10 percent in the perfor- mance of your lifting. What made this possible is that as the elastic material is stretched during the lowering phase of the squat, like a spring extended, the elasticity of the wraps store this potential energy which is then transferred to the lifter during the ascending phase. Actually research has shown that wearing knee wraps leads to 20% more speed out of the bottom of the squat.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!
These knee wraps made a world of difference for squats and deadlifts. Take care of your knees and they'll take care of you, be safe and smart!!After six months of use I've had to buy straps with no velcro. The velcro worn out, and I'm having to constantly re-adjust. If you are a heavy lifter and use them constantly you might be better off buying straps without velcro!
