I'm updating my review.I purchased this diffuser on October 26, 2017. After less than six months of use, the motor is already starting to breakdown. It's making terrible sounds and the output stops. I've cleaned it regularly and only used filtered water and high grade essential oils. We stopped using the essential oils a month in, over fears for the effects on cat health.It's nice to look at, the colors and lighting is pretty but I'm incredibly disappointed in the functionality and longevity. I don't like the idea of throwing it away and having it take space in a landfill. Perhaps it can become a planter. I will not be purchasing this again.Pros:VERY easy to cleanQuietDesign is esthetically pleasingLights are prettyMultiple run time settings, 1hr, 2hr, 3hr and continuous run.Automatic shutoff with either runtime or when emptyCons:Not much of a humidifier. The output is very little and it is not enough to provide comfortable humidity in our bedroom like we hoped.When filled with essential oils, the smell runs out within the hour. You will continue to get steam but the fragrance output does not last.We’ve had it for a few months and it is already starting to give out. The motor seems to have a hard time starting and it sputters a bit and makes noise until it settles out and gets going. This was what happened with our previous humidifier before it stopped working. Only it had taken a few years to get to that point.Overall:This is nice to look at and would be good for a small room when you want a temporary boost of nice smell or a pretty nightlight. Not recommended as a humidifier, continued fragrance output or daily use.

I liked the large size of this one. However at the bottom of the plastic water container there is a circle cutout with what appears to be cardboard which must let water sleep around where it shouldn't. Resulting in a mildest smell that you can't get rid of. Tossing it.

I ordered this one specifically because I wanted the remote. The remote is very cheap and does not work well at all. You push the buttons and after about six times of pushing it, it might work, but most of the time it still doesn't. I wanted the remote because you have more options on it than you do on the buttons that are on the diffuser.The diffuser is decent but the remote is useless!!! Hence the poor rating since I paid more to have the remote.

First one worked at first. I didn't use for a week wouldn't turn on again. I was sent a replacement. Worked for a month. Sat for a few weeks. Won't turn on. Very upset!

Beautiful diffuser. Both decorative & functional. I use it most often as a humidifer next to my bed. The run time is longer than expected. Disperses essential oils well also.

Long lasting before refilling. My favorite new piece for making everything smell so natural.

Small. It fits perfects in the space. Lasts all night and serves as a night light for the kids.

I took months deciding which diffuser I would buy. I finally decided on this one. The diffuser is cute but stopped working within two weeks of me purchasing it. Non-stop beeping when plugged in. Very disappointed.
