The Book of Me: A Guided Journal For Teens and Their Journey to Self-Discovery Paperback – October 4, 2016

I gave this to my teenage niece for Christmas and she really seemed excited about it. I also gave her a set of gel pens to do it with and that was a good idea! She says she loved it and finished it in 2 weeks. I would rate it higher, but I don’t know if it was actually well received or if she was just being nice.

It's a diary with prompts. I really like it. It has a lot of thoughtful prompts that are good to think about, especially if you're trying to do some self work. Some things I never took the time to think about, so it's def a good buy. It maybe caters to teens and twenty year olds, the look of it, but I'm in my late thirties and found the prompts to be thoughtful and maybe even eye opening... Good buy for the price that's for sure.

This is a great book for those who love to fill out surveys. This book helps you discover the real you...the you that YOU may not even know about! The book is full of surveys, activities, and lots of other fun things. One of my favorites is the page where you collect the fortunes from fortune cookies and glue them on the page. :) I suppose it's a bit like a diary, but a lot more fun!

Book came dirty with damaged corners and sides. Very disappointed. I would not Recommend purchasing. This was supposed to be a gift but it looks worn and used.

UPDATE: Still not happy with the delivery condition, but I was able to clean off the dirt with a Lysol wipe, without damaging the book.I love the concept of this book, but it arrive filthy! I ignored some of the other reviews from a couple of years ago, but that was a mistake!

The media could not be loaded.  I love the concept but it's dirty on the cover! Looks like it's used. Have no time to exchange as it's part of a birthday gift. Very disappointed.

Fantastic book -- light at times and deep at others. Perfect gift for a a friend teenager and up. I've thoroughly enjoyed working through this book!

Something to do when your bored

This book has arrived absolutely covered in dirt. The elastic strap is dirty, the book itself is covered in dirty marks and smears, and the bottom of the spine is crushed and damaged. Amazon, this isn't acceptable. I have paid almost full price for this and never would if I saw it in a shop in this condition. It looks second hand at best. The book itself is a nice way of reflecting on yourself. It is designed for teens but there is no reason why it shouldn't be used by adults. It offers spaces to reflect, write creatively, and doodle. A nice little way to pass time and think about who you are and what you value.

This is such a lovely book, though provoking, easy to fill in... I've had some where it feels like a chore to fill in but this is perfect! I filled in quite alot of it when I first purchased it, but now I just pick it up and put it down - It's lovely to see what you've written days/weeks/months ago :)

Would have been happy with the books had they not been delivered dirty.Luckily this cleaned off with baby wipes but was disappointed. I wouldn't have bought them for full price in a shop. Not returned due to needing them immediately as gifts.

I thought it was good, I enjoyed it. Its a good gift for people who like different things.
