I have been using this as a cookie scoop. Yes the cookies are huge. Works well and way to hold. The squeeze mechanism is smooth.

Perfect size for a scoop of chicken salad, or side dishes. It seems sturdy, too. I like it a lot.

Surprisingly durable, handle has some weight to it as well. When my coworkers and I were looking for replacement scoops these were available for next day shipping and were cheaper than certain name brands.

False description and wasted my money. This scoop actually measures only 1/4 cup (4 tbsp), not the described 5.5 tbsp (1/3 cup scoop). This utensil was nearly $21 so to be falsely advertised like this with no convenient way to return the item or get your money back, is really, really bad.
