Poet Emperor of the last of the Moghuls: Bahadur Shah Zafar Paperback – November 5, 2014

Bought this book thinking it'll be a nice biography about the last Mughal emperor. It is some kind of screenplay fiction which the author seems to be imagined. It is a complete rip off. Please avoid buying this. Save your money. Try reading the William Dalrymple book on Zafar instead.

This book is a well researched account of the last Moghul emperor. It includes the power struggle between Great Britain and India, and how Bahadur Shah Zafar used his poetic voice in this time of sorrow for him and his people. The story is helpful to understand the current state of world affairs. Interesting and well written.

Very thoughtful and well researched Book on Bahadur Shah Zafar. I became rived with the content and the way the book is narrated. I love the book and would recommend it to any body with interest in Mogul History, particularly Zafar.
