Can't get it to work right
Tried to install this hose today. Tough getting the male end to screw onto the spigot. When I finally did, and turned it on, I was showered with water coming out from a break in the connector piece that is about three inches down from the opening of the male end. Package contains no information as to how to correct this. The bottom of the box has a hashtag and a message to scan it to download the instruction manual. I don't have a device to scan the hashtag. I tried going to the manufacturer's website to download the manual, but the defective software on their website thinks my computer is located in Europe, not the USA, and will only let me see information about a pro version of their hose--which appears to be significantly different than the tek version that I purchased on Amazon. My husband spent about an hour trying to figure out how to make the hose carry water without spraying vast amounts through leaks in the nozzle, but without success. As a warning to others who may be considering purchase of a Pitt Force Tek hose, the box includes the following surprising warnings:*Do not leave under pressure when not in use [Does this mean that it can't work on a timer? If I turn off the spigot but leave the hose connected to a watering wand, is that considered to be leaving the hose under pressure, since the hose will remain full of water? Does this mean that I can't use quick connector devices to connect the hose to the various types of sprinklers and nozzles that I use for lawn and garden care? Does this mean that I have to go to the bother of draining the hose after I have finished using it for the day?]*Do not leave [sic] unattended children to use Fitt Force Tec. [So is the hose potentially dangerous to children? If so, how and at what age? Personally, I remember many a hot summer day chasing or being chased by my siblings and friends as we ran through sprinklers and sprayed each other with water, not under adult supervision.]*Do not leave out on [sic] freezing temperatures. [I live near Chicago, IL where we typically get our first hard freeze in the middle of October, followed by warmer days when watering will be needed. So does this mean that I need to disconnect the hose and bring it inside every night when the temperature might fall below 32 degrees F, then go through the pain of reconnecting it the next day?]*Store indoors in winter [So if you leave the hose outside for the winter, the warranty is voided]*Coupling Protection: to avoid any kind of corrosion causing fusion between faucet and coupling hose, we suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the hose from any metal spigot a minimum of 3 times a year. [this one is truly a pain to follow since getting the hose attached to and unattached from the spigot is so difficult.]As if that's not enough, the LIMITED WARRANTY that you can't see before purchasing the hose states, among other things, "FITT warrants that if any defects result from the normal, proper, and intended use of the product are discovered during the Warranty Period, it shall repair or replace a defective product, provided that the purchaser reports any such defects to the original point of sale, providing proof of purchase within ten (10) days of discovering such defect." How many of you will be sure to report a defect, such as leakage, within 10 days of discovering it?It also states that the warranty is voided by "(ii) purchaser making alterations, modifications, or repair without Fitt's written consent. " So if you try to stop or reduce the leak with duct tape, etc. without first getting written consent from Fitt, you lose the warranty. Moreover, it states that the warranty is voided "(iii) by purchaser's failure to follow FITT's technical instructions on to [sic] properly operate and maintain the product, as per Fitt's instructions or operating manuals." So now we are back to my problem with getting an operating manual.I did not find anything on the package indicating where the hose was manufactured. The package does include the name "FITT USA Inc., Mooresville, North Carolina, USA, but that is apparently just a sales subsidiary. The parent company appears to be Italian, and the person who wrote the copy for the box may also have been Italian, explaining errors in English usage indicated by "[sic]."I have submitted a query to the company that deals with Amazon, through Amazon. If I get help downloading the instruction manual, and we are able to adjust the hose so that it doesn't spray showers of water when I turn on the spigot, I'll revise my review as appropriate.

Great customer service!
UPDATE: I received a replacement hose and it’s great! I bought this because my company has one that is almost two years old and it’s perfect. THANK YOU!Started using the hose late September and only used it once a week during Fall & Winter. Now that I have to hand water a few times a week in the Spring, it's got 5 small holes in the middle and fine water mist spraying out. Very disappointing as this hose is not dragged around on a rough surface.

Best light weight hose ever!
I've tried so many hose options to ease with transporting across the yard, but sustaining use and abuse. This IS THE ONE! So light, even when full of water. Kink recovery is instant and never hinders water flow. Amazing...i now own 3 :)

Mixed Review
I have owned and used this brand of hose for 2 years. This was my 3rd purchase. I have one in the front yard that is used daily and has been fine for over 2 years. I had one in the backyard that lasted 1year and 3 months until it burst. I bought a new one July 2023 and it just burst on 9-10-23. I’m going to try one more time since I love these hoses for their ease of use, non kinking and lightweight features. It’s not ideal to have to repurchase them every year and certainly not cost effective to purchase one every 2 months.

Nice hose
I bought this for our summer house and it holds up great in the heat. Quality construction and materials. Value as compared to options available at big box stores. Craftsmanship and materials are great and it's light, which is a plus.
