Perfect stand and low enough height to use with chair
Just got an 88key piano and I wanted a good solid keyboard stand, and this is it. Built very sturdy, good strong material. Upon reading reviews for other keyboard stands I noticed many of them on their lowest setting was still just too high to play sitting comfortably on a chair. But this keyboard at its lowest setting is perfect for a normal chair and it's width is very good for an 88 keyboard. It opens and closes easy, but locks in nicely to remain sturdy. Maybe only drawback is not enough leg room, but that's to be expected with these double X style keyboard stands so you just have to kind of deal with that, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Highly recommended.

This stand is perfect!
This stand is awesome! All I had to do was open the box, open the stand up and lock it into position! There was NO ASSEMBLY whatsoever!! It is perfect. I read a ton of reviews on all the different stands and decided to go with this one, yes it may not have that many reviews compared to others, but the reviews it does have are all either 4's or 5's! The price is right, it's solid, super EASY to set up (took me longer to open the box and take it out of the plastic bag it was in!! IT'S PERFECT! So glad that I decided to go with this stand!!

Goes really low! Better than I thought it would be.
Read lots of reviews about lots of stands. Not sure of what drew me to this one, maybe it was that someone mentioned that it sat lower than most other stands. Well, this is true, I actually have it on its second lowest height setting, and it's perfect. I'm sitting in a reclining office chair, at an Ikea desk. The keyboard I'm using is an Oxygen 61. It's just a tad smaller than I thought it should be for this stand in terms of its depth, but what I did was:Took 6 of those round (don't have to be round I guess) felt bumpers, the kind you use to cushion the bottoms of chairs etc. so they don't scrape when you move them. And strategically placed them underneath so that they keep the keyboard totally in place and still when it's sitting. Totally awesome move. Wish I could put a picture here to show.. can't figure out where to do that from though. The stand its self is totally stable, and would actually benefit from having a much heavier keyboard than the one I've got, on it.Recommended highly.Doug

Chinese military issued ironing board now sold as... ?
This stand has gone several months constantly holding 65 lbs Akai Professional MPK88 Hammer Action USB Midi Controller and holds up well to frequently being dragged and pushed a few feet while supporting keyboard (1st photo. Pulled from under desk for use and pushed for storage). Then when life happens and you realize that a 65 lb keyboard is not fun to transport or lacks the capability to vacuum/clean floors while you're away...The Hamilton SR524200 Double X Lightweight Multi-Purpose Load Supporter (Powered Stage Rocker Edition) is good at supporting loads. Does your load consist of clothes? Well now you have a coat hanger. Is your load lacking in thickness but makes up for it in surface area? Adjustable height desk/table.I've owned this for a little over 2 years. Whatever warranty it has was probably voided when it held a 55 lb bookshelf tipped on its side to create an entertainment center under a wall mounted TV. I don't love this product. It's just there. But as you can see from my pictures. I'm a huge fan of the adjustable doodle desk.Edit: Now it's a coffee table.

Good Keyboard Stand
Works great. Goes low enough that my 8 year old can be comfortable playing the keyboard on it. We paired it with a Yamaha PKBB1 Adjustable Padded Keyboard Bench. Great price and quite adjustable.

Height Options are Not Good
Sturdy, holds my 76-Keyboard well, not wobbly, easy to set up. But - I hate the 'X' design. Does not make sense when you actually have knees. I would get another stand without this "X" design next time. Another thing that is irritating; When you have a regular piano, from the floor to top of the white keys is about 28-29". The average piano benches, from the floor to top of bench (seating) is usually about 18 1/2". When they made the height notches on this stand I don't think they took it into account there would be a keyboard on top with a few inches in height. If you put this on the second to the lowest notch and set your basic keyboard on top, and measure, from the floor to top of white keys is 30". Which is a few inches too high (due to adding the keyboard), to use it with a regular 18 1/2" piano bench. And certainly too high for an average dining room chair. If you put the stand on the lowest notch, then using a regular bench or even the lowest dining chair you have, you are then sitting too high to use the keyboard properly. I use it at the 30" height with my drafting chair, successfully, but it's still awkward. The notches are made to the right height, as long as you don't plan to put a keyboard on top unless it's really flat. I will be looking at heights for sure the next stand I buy.

Nice stand for the price, may need to get bolts if younger kids are playing with it.
It works well with Casio keyboard, make sure to lock it in place and you will never have an issue. Also, just to confirm this DOES NOT attach to the keyboard, it just sits on top of it, you can get screws from the hardware store to permanently attach to it doesn't get pushed off. Older kids an adults won't have to worry unless you forget when you try to move it. Good quality and not cheap in appearance.

Seems sturdy..
I got this to support a Yamaha P-115 stage piano. I got the keyboard today, put it on the stand, and played about as dynamically as I can, and it didn't seem to budge. This was something that always bugged me with my previous electronic piano - it'd bounce around when I hit it pretty good. Not a problem with this stand. Plus, no assembly required. Just open it to the height you need, make sure the little metal doo dad is in the appropriate slot, and you're ready to go. Highly recommend, so far!
