Plantronics Savi Headset Online Indicator, Standard Packaging, Black, Small

This plugs into a Plantronics HL10. There was a reviewer who said it didn't work but likely they did not have an HL10.Since most any Business/Office model of Plantronics headset works with the HL10 Headset Lifter, compatibility is simple. When the lifter goes up, the light goes on, then pulses bright, dims slowly for a second, then bright again.I have the W745 model headset, so I can also comment on the USB connectivity which does NOT cause the HL10 lifter to "lift" when you are on a call, instead you are using Skype or Microsoft Office Communicator to talk with it as a wireless USB headset. I am pleased to report that while using the W745 (should also hold true for any of the W7xx series models) with Skype, the blue light also comes on as described above, despite the fact that the lifter isn't moving at all. Very, very pleased.Please note that the picture shows the device folded up out of the backing which is designed to either stick (2 pieces of double-stick adhesive strips provided) or stand as shown in the picture. The fold-out design is not intuitively obvious and including it is a very versatile feature, allowing it to free-stand. When folded out, the top and sides of the unit are also lit up, further increasing visibility of the blue light.The only improvement would be a longer cord, as the length provided really limits where I can place the light in relation to the desk phone. -1 star for the cord length, otherwise a perfect device.

After nearly fourteen years of co-workers asking me if I'm on the phone, despite the fact that I have my headset on and I'm talking "to myself," I finally decided to add an indicator so they'd know with certainty. I have the Plantronics HL10 lifter, so hookup would be a breeze.Needless to say, I was more than excited to unbox/open my new indicator only to discover it was damaged. It was still in its factory-sealed plastic bag so I'm at a loss as to how it could sustain damage to the wire at the factory but still get shipped out.Yes, it 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 work, but I'd have much preferred to have received what I paid for: a new, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 unit.

Simple setup with the Plantronics Savi Headset. The wire to the light is very thin. Made me a little nervous to stretch it out. Uses a standard 3.5mm stereo plug so I was able to purchase a cheap extension to mount the light outside my office door. The only con (from those outside the office) is that the light constantly blinks when in use rather than staying on solid. Slightly distracting when you see it out of the corner of your eye consistently. Would be nice to be able to configure it to either blink, stay solid, or blink for the first few seconds then stay solid.

The Savi Online Indicator works as described and easily connected to the accessory port on the back of my Plantronics HL-10 handset lifter. Plantronics's website says that the light comes with a 9-foot cable, however upon receiving the package I was a little disappointed to find it only had a 6-foot cable. An extension cable is available for this product if needed.Unit comes with two adhesive strips for mounting. The unit also folds out or collapses into itself, allowing you to mount the light on nearly any horizontal, verticle, or angled surface.I have this light connected to HL-10 lifter / Savi W710 base and to my dismay the light turns on even if I select the Computer Input on the headset base (lifter is not activated). I use the headset to listen to music between calls, so if I have the computer input selected it appears to others as if I am on a phone call. In my opinion, if the light is connected through the accessory port on the HL-10 lifter, it should only activate when the lifter is activated.

Easy to install and comes with a long cord. I wish the flashing blue light was more noticeable. It flashes on right away but then slowly fades out and takes a second to flash on again. It would be better if it flashed on and off continously with out delay. Works for its purpose though.

Works as intended! Working from a home office, I use this with my ShoreTel phone and Plantronics headset. It works fine with the CS540 and the CS530 units, and the ringpod adapter, the RD-1-POD. You plug the RD-1 into the port on base of the Plantronics headset, and then this OLI plugs into the RD-1 unit itself. Now when I'm on a call the light blinks to notify people. You can couple it with a audio extension cable to extend the overall length of the cable it comes with, which is fairly short in my opinion.Unit could be a little larger I guess, but it's not a bad size overall. A good visual indicator of on call status.

I liked that works as advertised. Easily seen by fellow staff within our business. If you have kids or a spouse that constantly interrupt your Zoom or Teams calls at the worst times, this is a must. Doesn't do so well with cats and dogs.

Smaller than I thought it would be but works great.

Works perfectly with the HL10 Handset Lifter (just plug into the accessory jack) I have the CS50 Base Unit, HL10 Handset Lifter combo. You can mount the indicator anywhere that is convenient or leave it freestanding. It has a nice long cord on it too. The light is not blinding and pulses while the handset is in the lifted position. No complaints! No more interruptions either!

Worth great. Only bad part about them is if the design was on both sides.
