First let me say that I pretty much hate any kitchen gadget that can't be thrown in the dishwasher. Second, is there anything harder or more annoying to clean than metal muffin pans!? I love to bake, so when I saw this muffin/cupcake "pan" that is dishwasher safe I knew I needed it in my life! Here's what I LOVE about this pan:-HANDLES: You guys, it has HANDLES! Need I say more!?-STURDY FRAME: This is not the first silicone baking pan on the market, but what makes this one different is that it had a sturdy frame around it to keep it from flopping all over the place when you're trying to put it in and take it out of the oven. BRILLIANT!! I wouldn't use a silicone baking pan that didn't have a sturdy supporting frame around it.-EASY: By far the best feature of this pan is how easy it is to use and clean! NO greasy cooking spray or paper cups required! NO cutting around the outside of the cupcakes or muffins to get them out! NO baked goods falling apart in the removal process (just pop the cups inside out)! NO obnoxious soaking and cleaning routine after you're done baking! I just popped the cups inside out and rinse them off, then threw it in the dishwasher (though it was practically clean after the hand rinse). DONE! I can't tell you how happy this makes me. No rust, no hand drying, no scrubbing, no mess!-QUALITY: This is a very well designed and well made product. It does not feel cheap and the materials used seem high quality and sturdy. I feel like this is something that will last a long time with proper care.The only things I did not like so much:-SMALL: This is NOT a standard size muffin/cupcake pan. I thought it was when I bought it but it isn't. The cups are smaller by about a tablespoon and a half in terms of batter. I used this side by side with my standard muffin tin to make some blueberry muffins so you can see the difference in my side by side comparison pics. They're a cute little size to be honest and could be very useful for certain occasions, but I prefer the standard size for every day baking needs. I talked to customer service (very professional and helpful) and they told me the standard size will be released soon (HOORAY)! In addition to making a smaller cupcake/muffin, the bottoms of the cups are small enough to slip between the bars of my oven's baking rack which was a little annoying when putting it in and pulling it out of the oven. I had to position it just right to keep it from falling through.-BOTTOMS BURN FASTER: When using this pan side by side with my standard muffin tin using paper baking cups, the bottoms of the muffins in this pan got brown faster than my standard tin. For one, the additional layer of paper protected the bottoms of the standard muffins. For two, there was more batter in the standard tin so I had to leave them all in longer than I normally would. You can see how the rest of the muffin is perfectly cooked on the top and inside, but the bottoms are just a tiny bit more brown than I would like. If/when I convert to using these pans exclusively (which I absolutely will), I will adjust my cook times appropriately and probably won't have this issue because I won't be sharing the oven with a different type/size of pan.All in all I am VERY pleased with this product by Bake Boss and am excited for their standard size pans to come out! This is a must have in my opinion for any baker. Hope this helps!

Cleaned easily. Makes big muffins

The pan is sturdy. But the muffin wells are lopsided so your muffins or egg bites come out lopsided. No weird smell or taste. Just lopsided.

Easy to remove contents because the muffin pan individually flips inside out to release the contents.

This is the BEST silicone muffin pan! I wanted to try it for egg muffins and sure wished I would have purchased one a long time ago! This pan does not disappoint. I have not sprayed it with anything and the egg muffins slide right out. They bake evenly (actually better than in a metal pan), and you can slide them right out even while still hot. I did try regular muffins, however I found out that they have to be cooled down completely or they may not slide out as well. Also, I noticed the next time I made egg muffins, I detected a hint of cinnamon from the blueberry muffins (and maybe I didn’t get them as clean as I should have). But, I have decided that I prefer my “non” egg muffins to be cooked in muffin papers. If I were to use this, I would recommend getting a pan for egg muffins and one for “non” egg muffins. I highly recommend this pan. Excellent quality. Having the metal rim is fantastic as it holds it’s shape while putting in and removing from the oven. This muffin pan size seems true to the “regular” metal pan size. I do hope the company will think about making this size into a 12 count. I’ve seen reviews where the current one selling is more of a mini-muffin size, however I personally have not ordered it to see for myself. Enjoy!

Cups are a bit smaller than I expected, but still useful. Very easy to clean.

I really wanted this pan to work--its metal frame made it easy to handle instead of all floppy like the others, and they are absolutely right, the silicon does pass the pinch test.But the reason I'm leaving this review: even though it seemed pretty sturdy, after four months I went to take it out of the oven and my hand went right though it--it completely tore like it was nothing. And now I need a new muffin pan. I think I'm done trying to use silicon, it's just not worth the hassle and the weird smells that set off my fire alarm (silicon picks up everything that touches it, including soap!).

If you've used silicone muffin pans before, you know they are floppy and you have to put a pan or cookie sheet under them. This solves that problem. This is a silicone pan with a built-in metal frame. It supports the flexible muffin pan within. I like to make large chunks of ice and this saves the day, no more spilled water from "mold" bending or falling over. Love it for the muffins too. Easy clean up as well.

Made really sturdy.The cups could be made a little larger.Well the price is a bit steep.
