USB C Cable, WiRoTech Blue USB-C to USB-C Fast Charging Cable (10 feet, Blue)

I got more or less what I expected from this cable. It is long, it supports fast charging just fine on my nexus 6p even with the 10 foot cable I ordered, and the color is great - I ordered purple. Unfortunately the plug itself is the cheaper and less durable type with a seam on one side, whereas the more durable type is one-piece, extruded. This was disappointing to me as I picked this cable because I thought it was a one piece, "extruded" plug like higher quality cables. For $20, this cable wasn't exactly cheap and I was bemused to find the cheaper plug was used. I don't expect it to last as long as an extruded plug will, but so far it has given no indication of failure. Plugs in securely and works well. Overall, happy with the purchase, just wish they had used the better plug. Would have paid a few extra $$ for the extra durability. Also the logo on the plug is a bit on the tacky side, but that's purely aesthetic. I also noticed mine has a little of the nylon sleeving coming through the seam between the metal housing around the plug and the rubber cable-saver flexible part. Not enough to warrant three stars, though.

The Cablex iPhone Charger Nylon Braided Lightning Cable 3 Pack is perfect for my family. The 6 foot cable makes charging around furniture or anywhere easy. I charge ,my phone at night while sleeping and the super long length makes them perfect for plugging in behind the bed and still being able to reach them. I have used a shorter cable only to be woken up by an alarm on my phone that had fallen behind the bed due to the short cable. Rearranging furniture is not on my to-do list first thing in the morning! They are also great for the car and can reach clear into the back seat.Not only do these USB-C to USB-C Cables look awesome and amazing in the blue, but they are super nice and super strong! This cable fits snugly into the appropriate ports easily and stays put. The thick ends make the cables easy to insert and pull out without damaging them but are still small enough to allow me to use it with my case on! The charge and sync is fast without losing connection with all my USB-C devices. I have used many cables from this manufacture and the are always fantastic. That basically means 48MB/s which is not very high at all for any cableI almost returned the external hard drive I bought to use this with because I thought *it* was the problem. Tested the cable that came with it and got a speed bump of literally 4x the amount on read and write.Only get this cable for charging. It works amazingly well for that, but data transfer is not up to par with even a normal USB-C cable. This company has reached out to me for a refund/replacement and I am hoping to get the updated version with faster transfer speeds in exchange. I will update my review if/when I get the updated version.

I discovered that cheap USB cables may not be able to handle the large files required for Amazon Ultra HD and other hi-res streaming services. Plus, cheap USB cables often have poor shielding. WiroTech cables cost a bit more but are worth it! They are rated to handle the higher data speeds needed for hi-res music streaming. I look for this brand exclusively when buying USB cables now as I have had excellent results from them. Don't cheap out when buying USB cables for hi-res streaming or charging. WiroTech make excellent cables!

UPDATE 9/7/18: This is a long overdue update from two to five stars. I am impressed by WiRoTech and the professionalism provided by the team. They reached out and replaced the defective cable upon receiving my note. The cable was sent soon thereafter and it continues to work well since then. It speaks volumes about the WiRoTech team, i.e. they'd fix the issue without any defensiveness.---------------I bought a WiRo Tech cable and was pretty pleased with it, which led to a recent purchase of the 6-ft version. Unfortunately, this one is a dud. For some unclear reason, it transmits power at a very inconsistent and thus unpredictable basis. If I don't insert it into the right USB-C input just so, it will toggle between charge vs. no charge every 10-20 seconds. What also makes matters irritating, I hear my laptop chiming "on" each time to signal a charge connection. That's when I switch to another input. My refund window has closed and I'm stuck with this. If you buy this, do use it as often as possible within the first week so you can see if it's a dud, at which point you can exchange or get a refund.

I guess it's true that sometimes you get what you pay for. This much for a 1 foot cable?! Truth is, the build quality of this cable is insane. High quality braiding, high quality connectors, and fast charging. Literally, the only negative about this cable is the cost. Other than that, these cables are excellent!

I bought this in Feb 2020. It is now January 2021 and I will be throwing it away because it does not work reliably.When I used this cable to attach a USB-C hard drive, my Mac kept telling me that I have removed/ejected the drive without unmounting it first, which I had not. When I changed the cable to another one, suddenly the problem went away.Too bad. The cable feels thick enough that I assumed it would last for a long time. Alas…

I purchased this cable as an extra cable to have in case I need to travel and charge my Motorola phone, I like this cable for the color and the look of the braided style. When I plugged this cable into my PC to charge my phone I discovered that the cable is not configured for turbo charging. The most current standard for USB-C cables are configurable for Turbo type charging. This still charged the phone however, it takes twice as much time to charge.
