Wonderful Moisture For Dry Skin▪️Anti Aging & Other Benefits▪️No Added Fragrance or Chemicals
This Eu'Genia Everyday Shea Butter is an all natural blend of 82.50% unrefined, pure shea butter with the balance being added shea, moringa and baobab oils. This has no added fragrance at all, but it has a natural, light aroma that’s pleasant. I’d describe it as faintly sweet, nutty and smoky. I think it smells really neutral and doesn’t linger. The 12 oz size is generous and comes in an attractive square tin sealed inside with white plastic and also sealed outside with a sticky label. While it can melt in heat but then reharden, my shea butter blend arrived in a firm block in the tin. Still, it’s easy to scoop out with a spoon or I simply shave some off using the back of my thumbnail (so it doesn’t get under my nail). I’ve used the Eu'Genia Dermatological formula that’s 100% shea butter. I have a slight preference for it but love both products. I’d say this one seems to spread a little smoother given the added oils, but I have no issue spreading this type or the 100% shea butter. I briefly warm this in my hands, which makes is easy to spread on my skin. This is great for my dry, sensitive skin as it adds so much moisture without causing any irritation or using any chemicals. This has just a slightly buttery or oily feel at first, but my skin absorbs it quickly and isn’t left with any oily look or feel. I often use this shea butter blend all over in place of a daily body cream or lotion, but it’s also an excellent treatment for certain problem areas such as my dry elbows, hands/knuckles, legs and areas that are looking crepey such as my arms. It leaves my skin soft, smooth, comfortable and well hydrated all day.I feel good about using this shea butter as it can do more than just add needed moisture. I can’t judge the long term yet, but in the short run I feel like it makes my skin feel and appear firmer and like it improves elasticity. My skin also appears less wrinkly and crepey. Also, this has the potential to repair and prevent damages as it’s anti aging given that it’s antioxidant rich with Vitamin E (may decrease scarring) and Vitamin A (may improves firming). It may also promotes collagen production and much more. Love it. 5 stars.

Legs feels smooth and moist
So let me start off by saying I’m not familiar with Shea butter. So I’m not sure if it’s normal for it to feel kind of like hard butter but that is kind of how it felt. Took a little bit of work to get some from the container. Really had to dig my fingers in there. I couldn’t find an expiration date so that’s a little worrisome but I think I will be running out before it will expire based off the amount I had do used to cover my legs in Shea butter. I put the Shea butter on my legs after my shower and they are pretty moist and oily still about an hour later. They feel soft and moisturized but they are really sticking to my sheets and my pajama pants. I was hoping they would dry quicker. I found the smell to be pleasant and had a grapefruit quality like the description said. I thought I caught an odd whiff of something weird when I was really rubbing it in my hands to warm it up. Hard to describe the smell. I didn’t like that part but that went away after I stopped rubbing my hands together. Could’ve been a chemical smell. Since my legs aren’t dry yet and I’m impatient I probably won’t buy this again but I will use the rest from the container because it’s still nice.

Good stuff
I've tried another variant of this product (Mother's Shea, by the same brand) and it didn't agree with me. This Shea butter is far better. It's now raw, per se, but not refined in a way that it has lost all of the properties of raw Shea butter. The smell is exactly what I would expect of raw Shea butter. It is smooth in the tin, and did not melt in transit. It arrives with a paper cover to hold the product in just in case it does melt before arrival. It moisturizes my skin very well and absorbs quickly, leaving me soft but not greasy. It's a butter, so application takes more time than a lotion or cream.Eu'genia makes 4 different Shea butter types with various formulations. Below are details on the formulations so you can make the best choice for yourself.1.) The "Mother's Shea" line comes in various fragrances and contains: shea butter (64%), shea oil (20%), apricot oil (7%), sunflower oil (7%), and fragrance (2%)2.) The "Everyday Shea" line comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)****PLEASE NOTE that these ingredients are as listed on Eu'genia's site, and there currently appears to be a typo with the percentages as they do not add up to 100% in this case. I believe that there is either 2% more Shea butter or 2% more Shea oil than what is stated.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), grapefruit/lavender essential oil (2%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)3.) The "Pregnancy Strength" line also comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%)****As with the unscented version of the Everyday Shea line, Eu'genia's site currently has a typo in the ingredients. This time there is 1% missing, and I'm assuming that it's either part of the Shea butter or the Shea oil.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%), and grapefruit/lavender essential oil (1%)4.) The "Dermatological Strength" Shea only comes in unscented and it is 100% Shea butter.
