Very versatile.
A disclaimer: I bought this primarily for use as a walking stick, although I will use it as a monopod from time to time.This is very sturdy, very light (thanks to the carbon fibre construction) and can extend to almost eye level.The reversible 1/4 or 3/8 screw gives the option for direct use with a camera or fitting an alternative head. The included mobile phone holder is an unexpected bonus (and quite well made), but the cherry on the top for me is the walking stick handle adaptor. It can be fitted in one of two positions, depending on the style of grip desired. There is also a handy carrying case included.The only drawback I have found is that when using this as a walking stick, the rubber foot covering the spike on the base of the monopod is NOT designed or manufactured for prolonged use. It wore through to the metal in just a couple of days. After some searching, I found a walking stick ferrule which fits OVER the existing rubber cover and is very hard wearing.Very happy with my purchase, so far.

Good Basic Monopod.
It's a good monopod for hiking or travel, but the handle is not quite right. I drilled a hole in the top and glued in a riv-nut so I could attach a ball mount on the top for my camera. The handle is hollow, so need quite a bit of epoxy to secure the nut. As one other reviewer noted, the handle is upside down. I could flip it over now, but I put in a 1/4 nut and the other 2 holes are 3/8 and don't have another 3/8 to 1/4 adapter screw.Overall, I like it and it seems quite sturdy except the bottom extension is a bit too small. I am short so I don't have to extend it out that far, but if you are tall, it might be a bit wobbly.

In the short period of time I have had this monopod / walking stick it’s been brilliant, and is and has done exactly as advertised 👍👍

Great walking pole/monopod piece of kit
The stick arrived promptly. Looks very sturdy as a monopod and is a useful walking pole. Saves me having to take both on a walk. Great piece of kit!
