I wanted trainers that would cope with the British climate, ie be waterproof! These have a pleasant retro look about them and are well made. They are extremely comfortable to wear. I'm UK Size 9/43 but got 9.5 which fit brilliantly. They've certainly passed the waterproof test over the spring! I got for £48 brilliant value for the best make of trainers, period.

Really nice, great fitting trainer

This is a day-1 review based on comfort, looks and price. I bought these as I was looking for some cheap gym shoes. To my surprise, these came up in a search for trainers under £40. I figured why not. They arrived today and they are stunning. Takes me back to my youth. Comfort wise, they seem very decent. I've had more comfortable shoes, but costing more than double what I paid for these. Don't get me wrong, they are comfortable, but just not as comfortable as shoes costing upwards of £100.At the price, they're a steal. They just might not be the right tool for the job if you plan on being on your feet for eight hours a day in them.

While these shoes do appear to be reasonably well made, they are without a doubt the most uncomfortable pair of shoes that i have ever worn. The inside of them is full of little "hot spots" where two parts meet and the stitching protrudes out and constantly rubs against your feet making them very sore and eventually leading to blisters. This is the first pair or Adidas i have bought in about 25 years, and they werew definitely a lot more comfortable back then. Avoid completely if you have wide feet because the shoes are only about wide enough to fit a cats paw.If you still insist on buying them get a size up as they are a very small fit which will on exacerbate the rubbing issues.I would have expected more from a known brand like Adidas.
