Great Cyclocomputer but with a major flaw for me - no real-time average speed
I really like this cycle computer. It's big and easy to read. The touch screen buttons are very responsive. It's accurate. The set-up was easy. The problem for me is that I like to see my average speed while I'm riding to motivate my ride. The average speed only shows when you come to a stop. It replaces the current speed at the top of the screen. Not only that, it doesn't show on the same screen as the other important stats: distance and ride time. So to see the average speed, you have to stop, then tap twice to get to the screen where it shows. Also, the touch screen doesn't work with full-finger gloves (unless they're made for touch screens), so in cold weather, I had to stay on the same screen for entire ride. For me, these factors are a deal-breaker. If you are a casual rider that doesn't care about seeing average speed on the go, and would like a massive easy to read display, then this computer is great.

running odometer is wrong - unreliable product
[Note: I just lowered my rating of this product from two to one star. It developed more problems to the point that it was completely unreliable. I took it off my bike and bought a good CatEye odometer from a *local* bike shop. No more cheap noname stuff from Amazon for me. Avoid this product.]I bought this unit because it had all the features I wanted (speed, avg speed, trip distance, time, trip time, temperature, and a settable cumulative odometer) at a low price. I'm OCD about mileage so keeping track of my cumulative mileage was important to me. At first I thought the product was great: easy to install, easy to use. (One minor nit is that it's a touch screen and won't work when I'm wearing gloves. No big deal.) Then I noticed discrepancies in the odometer readings vs individual trips. After some testing I found that fractional parts of my individual rides weren't being included in the running total. e.g.: a trip of 19.9 miles only adds the 19 miles to the odometer. There might be additional issues with the odometer; I'm still checking on that. All in all, I'm very disappointed because I was happy with it until I found this problem. If you don't care about the accuracy of cumulative mileage, this is a good buy for you. Otherwise, best to check out another unit.

So Far, So Good
Like the look and easy readability. Trek Bike handles are tapered so install posed a small problem. I had to do some engineering. I have yet to figure out how to erase current data (this trip). I suspect battery life may be shorter because of the back light. Moving between programs, and knowing what I just got into, is easier for me. It seems more logical and the display tells me more. I like this unit and I have had a number of other ones.

Wire came out of sensor during installation
So bummed. I had it all ready to finish installation by attaching the sensor to the bike fork. I don't know if I was to rough or it was too cheap but the wire came out of the sensor. There doesn't seem any way to open up the sensor to reattach it, so I've now just got a paperweight. I bought it before the winter and just now tried to install it so it's out of the warranty window. It's too bad because the display looks beautiful. I haven't decided whether to buy another and try again or not.

Amazing!.......It continues to work well after six months
It took more effort than it should to figure out the set up instructions (e.g. why the wheel circumference needs to be entered in millimeters even though "miles" has been selected). Getting the two counter items installed on the wheel spokes is not easy, but getting them to stay in place with twisted wire and Gorilla Tape seems to be working. It will take some time to recall all the screen adjustments, so I keep a summary table in my wallet. (The instructions are too small to use for this purpose.) Despite all this, it now works and I recommend it as a good purchase.

Perfect (Wired Version)
Tried it out on a 35 miler this weekend - works great! Very accurate. Easy to install. Just spiral extra wire around front brake cable to keep it tidy and out of the way. To all the folks who can't figure out how to change to MPH / degrees F - THERE IS AN INSTRUCTION SHEET INCLUDED IN THE BOX THAT EXPLAINS ALL OF THIS QUITE CLEARLY. So, don't listen to the moron reviewers - this bike computer is easy to use. Just follow the instructions. Quite a bargain at <$20 US.

great value, but.......
On the negative side the instructions were not nearly as helpful or as comprehensive as they should have been and it would have also helped if they had used a bit larger print. It took more time that it should have to get it to work properly and to figure out just how get the unit set up (the instructions sucked), but once I got it dialed in it has worked great so far. Consider it to be a great value at this price.
