24 mg is a higher dose than most studies, may be better for a larger person/ highly active person. Studies show good health benefits and probably won't hurt you. It is a little $$ to take over time, prob can get same benefits taking this every other day.Looked up info: Most supplements and studies recommend 4-12 mg daily for general health benefits. The FDA has approved up to 12 mg daily as safe, while the European Food Safety Authority suggests an acceptable daily intake of about 0.034 mg/kg body weight (around 2.4 mg for a 70 kg person), though higher doses are often used without issue.

I have been using this product for almost a year now. This is the highest dosage in a convenient single pill. I feel energized and I feel healthy. This product is an excellent antioxidant and makes my skin feel good too! I would definitely recommend this product for purchase.

I like this product because it has a higher amount of Astaxanthin at 24mg whereas most only have 12mg or under. This promotes eye health. I'm not a doctor therefore I cannot give professional advice but I'm trying what I can do stave off eye disease.

I want the Astaxanthin but for people watching their heart-healthy Omega's, you don't want or need high amounts of Omega-6. This product has 200 mg. You want high amounts of Omega-3 and Omega-9, and low amounts of Omega-6. It's all about the ratio. If you consume high amounts of Omega-6, which this product has, you need to increase your 6 & 9.

i saw some test report-this brand has zero mg of estazenthin-not 24 mg-if that is correct then it is a big fraud-please inform me if you find info contraray to that-may be it is too good to be true-i read some where that the company is owned by now foods which is a good brand.
