Perfect for making custom audio cables.The right angle allows me to install my Yamaha CX-A5100 11.2-CH MusicCast Preamplifier home theater AV receiver in a tight place that couldn't be done with standard straight XLR connectors. The multi-angle custom positioning is GREAT. Construction is top notch and includes a rubber gasket sealing ring that makes a perfect fit to the preamp eliminating any loose connection... a nice touch that's a cut above the rest. Works well with professional 1/4" (6mm) audio cable.If you're good with a soldering iron and want to make your own awesome custom audio cables, these will definitely be up to the task. Adjustable XLR right angle connector
The right angle allowed enough clearance for a cover on the device where they were used. The seven possible rotation positions allowed the wires to be kept out of the way of other cords.

The swivel on it works well with my berhinger mixer .which is always in its case and I do not have to disconnect it from my crossover
