Finally!!
From the "How Many Light fixtures does it take to achieve proper keyboard illumination?" Dept.:Does anyone else like or even need their keyboard illuminated when typing in dim light?I never learned to touch type but am pretty fast when I can see what I am doing. To that end I have struggled for many years to find just the right size and brightness light to hang over my keys. Much like a pianist needs their sheet music illuminated to play correctly.Since the advent of LED lights a wide range of lights have been engineered as "keyboard lights" . Most of them are cheap Chinese USB powered lights. They are either clip on, flexible goose neck or stick up with a cord. Very few are AC powered. The closest I came was a light wand with a 13" metal semi-flexible gooseneck that I had to plug into a USB hub and duct tape in a contorted way over my keyboard. it was okay and did the trick for about 6 months when a couple of the 9 tiny LED's started to flicker, then burn out. Then the light was too dim.I scoured Amazon and Ali-Baba and Ebay and whatever other specialty lighting stores I could Google but only found a few designs copied over and over again under different names.Last week, exasperated, I took a different tack and looked up "under counter lights".. again. this time I stumbled on a 8" USB powered stick up lamp that was fully dimmable and had a memory switch. SUHWEET! I Primed it right away.Today it arrived and I hurried to affix it to my desk. It took some MacGyvering with hot glue, hobby foam and black card stock, to fashion a mount and angle it just right to wash beautiful soft, glowing light over my keys.It is so lovely to sit here and type this without eye strain and with fewer typos. I might not finish this.... No, it is boring enough as it is.

Loved it
I really liked the light, the problem is after 2 years of constant use (pretty much daily for many hours a day) the poor thing has finally given out on me. the worst part is it isn't completely dead. while I was sitting using my pc there was a noticeable flash and it severely dimmed. but remained on. with florescent bulbs this is usually a starter Issue but as this is an LED light I'm not sure what it is. I want to try and pull it apart to see if i can repair it but not sure if I should. I wanted to order another one but for whatever reason this product no longer exists online anywhere. and this seems to be the only way I can get any information about it as when I check my past orders and click on it to try and purchase another one it directs me to a totally different product. if the makers of this light would reach out to me I would love to invest again in your product. it was great for the price

Tiny, sleek, petite and surprising bright
Love this LED stripe the size is perfect, it fits underneath window frame and isn’t an eye store. I actually think this LED stripe actually makes my desk area look a bit classy and professional. The light that this stripe provides is surprisingly bright with and has an even more surpring range (refer I pictures)The only feature I would change would be it’s poower source. Instead of a direct wire line an internal and rechargeable battery would make this stripe PERFECT. I have the soft light version and just ordered the vivid light version. I wish there were longer options. But I still love it.

Excellent emergency lighting for power outage
I bought two of these and they work very well during power outages. I have a 12 volt automotive jump starter, which has 4 x 5 volt USB charger slots. I do not understand why, but I have to hold them in my hands after plugging them in to get them to light up. Maybe I am grounding excess charge, or my hands are warming them up. Regardless they are very reliable and very bright.

Great light packed with features. Use an old 1A phone charger for power.
Great features in a small package. I use this over my keyboard on my desk and it is fantastic. It has a dimmer, small profile, and provides plenty of light when I want it to. It does not come with a power supply but I just used an old phone charger I had in the drawer.I suppose you could use your computer USB, but I don't recommend that. The light requires 800ma and I just feel odd putting that much current through the USB.

Exactly As Described. - Very Useful
I bought two, one for each monitor. I mount them under the bottom edges to light keyboard and surface. They are appropriately bright, easy to mount with the included double-stick pads, and can be powered directly from many monitors with USB ports.

Stopped working in less than a week.
I loved this product, it was perfect for what I needed, I would have given it five stars on it's own BUT... I started to use it Monday, stopped working by Thursday. says I cannot return so was a complete waste.

Small and bright
Small, light and works great. Gave it four stars because the mounting tape doesn't work that great. It comes lose over time. If you plan to mount this, it's best to use your own brackets. I especially like that I am able to dim this light. It goes from very bright to very dim.
