Worth Every Penny
This product worked better than I anticipated. Even if grilled/smoked food has been on there all through the winter, a couple swipes and it’s gone. I’ve tried soaking the racks in bleach & water, I’ve used Easy Off. This brick is much better. One or two wipes, the crusted cooked on food is gone, no soaking necessary. Make sure you get the holder to grip the brick.

I bought this to test it against the Blackstone cleaning wand.
I saw someone using one of these at Wafflehouse and decided to test it on a Blackstone griddle that I had already cleaned with the Blackstone griddle cleaner but I want to see how much more cleaning I could get.I have to say. It's so fine that it falls apart in the mail. Like I literally had the dust on me when I opened the package. Today I used it to clean the 28" Blackstone down to the metal. It did a good job getting to the subsurface rust but to took alot to clean up all that fine black dust and it made me feel bad for the people that got their food after the Wafflehouse reopened and this worker decided to cook their food on a griddle that had been left dirty for an entire day. Needless to say nobody wants to eat black sand in their omelets at 4am in the morning. I have used the white stone cleaning blocks that are much smaller and it takes long to clean but its more dense so you don't wear the stone down. My brick is almost gone from one cleaning session. If you don't put force down then it won't clean that well. Its really easy to wear a straight line in or leave a shelf. You have to turn the thing over to get to the corners that weren't used and then just work around it till it fits the surface you are trying to clean. I think I may just look for a more dense cleaning block using the same material. With all the air voids its like you are buying nothing and then having to clean up is a chore.
