You deserve to enjoy a multifunctional tool that's as sharp as your style. Just like every Victorinox pocket knife, the compact NailClip 580 will follow you anywhere, whether you're exploring the wilderness or facing the shark tank at work. And thanks to its quick-release mechanism, it will keep your fingers just as protected as your nails clean.

Great little edc
Great little edc, its small enough to put on your key ring, or your pocket, size is comparable to a tube of chapstick. The knife blade is small but functional, file could be better, scissors are great, and the nail clippers are great. Has a toothpick and tweezers, usual SAK addition. I have the blue translucent, and it does feel a little cheap, but this isn't going to be a primary knife, that takes a beating.. The nail clippers and scissors are the star of the show here. The knife blade is thin, but ridiculously sharp. With all that said, you can't beat this little guy. I will buy it again in a heartbeat, everything opens up with little effort, and you won't break a nail.

Stellar item
I actually bought this for the clipper to use in cutting fishing line and found that I carry it everywhere now. Light and barely noticeable in the board shorts.

It’s very nice
I got this for my brother in law for Christmas to use when he’s out disc golfing because he always forgets to cut his nails before a round. I thought I would be perfect for him and boy, was I right! He absolutely loves it and uses it DAILY!

Finally! This could be my Go-To EDC
I carried the classic SD for many years, but I missed having a nail clipper for unsightly, snagged or broken nails. I suppose I could’ve just used the scissors and file or bought a separate nail clipper, but it’s all in one device. The selection of colors are limited and the prices can vary or fluctuate. I bought a Japonesque and Tweezerman pocket tool for about $10 each before I discovered the V580. They have similar functions: a knife, file, scissors, and nail clipper. However, the V580 includes a tweezer and toothpick. This may push the V580 into a pricer bracket with the name brand and quality. The V580 is slightly larger, wider, and heavier than the classic SD, making for a better grip while still remaining compact. It may or may not get thru airport security. (My Swisscard got confiscated and I witnessed another guy get his tool card taken once. My SD has been able to pass in my makeup or toiletry bag. With TSA, you never know!) The files on the others have a screwdriver, whereas the V580 has a point. I haven’t really had a need to use the screwdriver, but I consider this a a missed opportunity because you already have the point of a knife. I like that the file on the V580 is a rough surface rather than striated. The blade is sharp enough for my purposes and the nail clipper works very well. The scissors has a Wenger design, but does the job. The assisted switch makes it easy to release and lock into its cavity. Like most keychain multitools, it can be a little tricky to pull out the tools, but I learned a tip to use the hook on the toothpick or tweezers. Speaking of the tweezers, it performs as expected. Overall, it’s super handy as an edc and can handle the nail trimming, splinter pulling, thread cutting, tooth picking, and box opening tasks that happen so often. It would make a nifty gift and travel buddy. I will probably use this more than my Leatherman.
