I bought some slim grips for my Kimber pro carry hd II and had gaps and problems tightening the grips with the original bushings and screws that came on the Kimber. This bushings brought the grips really tight and closed without any gaps at all. I didn’t used the O rings that came with it since was interfering with grips. Be advised that this are torqued and the specifications are written very small on front of the packaging and no advice in which O ring goes on top or bottom. Look at pictures posted by seller on this bushings and also the screws for reference. I didn’t contact seller, I’m pretty sure would it be helpful. Kimber bushings are REALLY REALLY tight so be careful when removing those and use a big screw driver that does go across the whole bushing. Very very happy with quality and fitment.

I’ll never buy any grip screw bushings other than these. Slotted bushings are now obsolete. These are well-made and precise. Highly recommended!

After having fought with the slotted bushings that even with the greatest care will still deform, I just replace them with these. Use a 7/32 nut driver and you'll never have an issue.

Just what they need to be. Have a 5.5mm socket and you are good to go. Great for the smaller grips. Rubber washers prevent loosening of the bushing and screw. Highly recommended.

Quick shipping and exactly as described. I needed these to complete a build I was doing where I switched to slim profile grips. These worked great and all you need is a socket to put them in which is really nice. I also ordered their removal tool for the stock ones and that was great too.

Very well made product but it will not work on Sig Sauer RCS with "slim grips". The taper around the base will not let the grips fit flush, enlarging the holes in the grips like I did lets the grips lay down flush but the height will not allow the screw to tighten down. I suspect this is due to Sig not Chalis, however it should be noted so nobody with a Sig RCS model wastes their time and money on these. Ok on other 1911 but not compatible with the Sig / Officer sized grips.

The only grip bushings I'll use. I've used many 1911 bushings in my lifetime and these are the best I've ever used. Innovative! It's one of those products that come along every now and then that makes you wonder why this wasn't invented sooner! Great job Challis.
