Our dog is a fairly messy eater. We had some regular bowls out and he regularly dropped pieces of kibble mixed with his wet food all over the kitchen floor, along with little water puddles. We got pretty tired of cleaning it up so I finally gave in and got a Neater Feeder. They're not cheap but they work. Not to mention they are extremely easy to clean which is nice. So far it's fixed our messy eater problem, and rarely do we ever find any pieces of food or big puddles on the floor anymore so it definitely serves its purpose! The bowls have a more than acceptable capacity for food and water, I think we could have gotten a medium (we got a large I believe) - our dog isn't huge, about 50lbs. All around we are very happy with it!

I have a small 2 year old Morkie and he would make me so mad. When he was running low on food or water, he would deliberately spill the remainder of the bowls to get your attention even though it wasn't empty or he would pick up the bowl and throw it at you. This is the perfect design!!! Great quality and very functional. The bottom half of the container holds water and keeps it from spilling on the floor. It is a great size for my dog to eat and drink. Perfect design because my dog can't tip the bowls over or take them out of the container. I'm no longer cleaning up water 5x's a day.

My cats would tip their water bowl and get water everywhere! They cannot tip the bowls out of this and so no more wet floors! I do only use it for water. My boy cat dips his paw and the water drips off into the lower part of the set and makes it easier for me. All I have to do is dump the lower part every so often. Great buy and has saved so much cleanup.

I thought about getting this for a long time, but could never really justify spending this much money on a water bowl for my dogs, so I just kept watching it and thinking about it.  Finally, it went on sale one day for a price that was closer to acceptable to me so I grabbed it and thought I would see if it is worth it.  I use this just for water at my house, which works great for us.  My sister pointed out that it looks like Darth Vader, so now I just call in the Darth water or the Vader bowl.  The design of this feeding station really does cut back on the mess.  It is very easy to assemble.  You just put the top part on the base and the bowls fit right in there.  The plastic is super smooth, so the water just beads up and rolls straight down to the drain part.  I love that it has a raised wall all around the bowls to cut back on the splashes everywhere.  My dogs were more likely to make a mess behind the bowl than they were to drool water all over the floor in front, so this has helped to keep the wall clean too!  This is also great for those mornings when I am running late for work and I need to fill the water really quick before I leave.  Typically, when that happens I make a mess and have to clean up after myself, but this bowl has my back!  All of the water that has been splashed around collects in the tray beneath the bowl.  You don't see it, so now you will just have to remember to move the top on occasion to empty it out.  Again this is easy to do.  The tray has a wide enough edge around it that you can easily carry it to the sink to dump it out without making a mess on the way there.  The smooth texture of the plastic also makes it very easy to clean.  It wipes clean very easily and really stays looking a lot nicer than I expected between cleanings.  The drain part is even pretty good about catching the dog fur so it is not mixing with the water underneath.  It does have little rubber pieces on the legs of the bowl to keep it from sliding.  I don't have it in a location where it would slide around much anyway though, so I can't say for sure how well that works.  The top of the rim in front stands about 6" off the floor, so the bowls are actually a bit lower than that.  That would be something to consider if you need more or less elevation depending on the size of your dog.  The stainless steel bowls are good quality and hold a good amount of water.  Overall, I am very happy to have this water bowl and I am glad I found it on sale.  I think it has kept the floor and walls cleaner and it looks nice in my kitchen.  If it were priced a bit lower I would recommend it to everybody.  At the current price of $47.99, I still feel it is a bit of a luxury item for my income.  However, price is relative so I rarely factor that into my reviews, so if the price is good to you I think it is a great bowl.

I have three Olde English Bulldogges. They tend to have flat faces and spill water/food everywhere when drinking and eating. These feeders are fantastic. First, they are up higher (about 6-10" off floor depending on size) so it is easier for dogs to eat. Second, the mess is contained in the larger frame. These are very sturdy. I clean them once a week with soap and water, but I have also put through the dishwasher without a problem. The bowls are stainless steel and I hand wash or put in dishwasher daily. I buy this when still a puppy and use bowls on floor until pup big enough to easily eat in feeder. The other thing I like is that it blocks view of other dogs while eating which reduces stress. These are must haves. I have two medium and one large.

I say the title because it’s seems Yorkers are the pickiest of everything. She is 6 pounds and comes to the perfect height for her. We are constantly clumsy and move it with our feet and the way it is made there is no mess. It comes in 4 pieces, two aluminum bowls, the bottom that holds everything together and the top where there are two holes for the bowls. Also on this top piece is grated so any water etc spilled by accident automatically drains it to the bottom piece. Sooooo easy to clean, and I mean every washing turns it into brand new again. My mom has a larger dog (100 pounds) so she has the biggest one. He barely has to angle his head. Such a good way for them to eat!Definitely a good buy!

My big want with this feeder was for it to stop the dogs from splashing water all over our cabinets and baseboards in the kitchen. Over the years it has caused water damage everywhere. It was so small each time we didn’t notice until it caused a big problem. I just refinished our cabinets by hand and I wasn’t about to let them get ruined again. This dog feeder is a perfect solution to the problem. Two big bowls of water so they don’t run out and they don’t make a mess because of the design. Win win. Totally recommend. Very sturdy. Well worth the money.

Me han sido sumamente prácticos para mis dos perros. Contienen suficiente espacio para agua y comida. Y además no se tienen que agachar tanto para el alimento. Este no resuelve tanto el goteo de agua, pero ayuda mucho.

Excellent product, very well made. I’ve had a couple different ones for different size pets and absolutely love them. They keep the mess in and look great also. Highly recommend this product

The food and water stand looks good and stays stationary.The stand is enclosed in such a way that my boxer dog Edgar, who is a messy eater, doesn’t spill his food when he is gobbling it up. It stays contained in the bowl. When he is drinking water , there is no longer a big puddle by the bowl when he is done. The is a catch basin at the bottom.The entire food and water stand wash up beautifully.

Este comedero me gusta mucho, ya había comprado otro igual para mi primer cachorra y fue el único que aguantó todas sus mordidas y evitó que derramara la comida. Ahora que tengo otro cachorra no dude el comprar el mismo. Mis perras aman sus comederos.
