It was a little heavy but was so pretty and sparkly. It went great with my 1920 flapper themed outfit.

Having seen a variety of cheap "flapper costume" accessories made with hot glue and sequins or cheap plastic beads, I was impressed by the quality of this one right out of the package. The rhinestones are set well, with no loose or missing stones, and the elastic band is crimped securely. It actually looks quite nice! The jeweled feather design is pretty obviously modeled on Daisy's headband from the most recent film version of The Great Gatsby, but the rhinestone band pattern and addition of the peacock feathers give it a more unique look. Especially at this price point ($14.99 at time of writing), this is the best-looking and best-constructed of the costume headbands I've tried.The only quality issue I encountered was with the feathers: The curled feathers that angle toward the back were either a bit loose in the setting or had bent shafts, and drooped unless I pinned them to my hair with a bobby pin. It's a minor inconvenience, but considering it was the first use out of the package, I feel like they should have been mounted more securely.My only real complaint (and the reason I knocked it down one star) is with the design itself: The feather cluster is set off-center, which is correct for the period -- but it's positioned in such a way that if the jeweled part of the band is centered on the head, the feathers sit *directly* above the left eye, and the dangling pearls smack you in the eye every time you move! It really should have been mounted an inch or two farther over. (Even the movie accessory it's copying had the pearls mounted at the temple, rather than over the eye.) I was able to rotate the band slightly and hide the fact that it was off-center by pinning it under the longer parts of the wig, but if you're wearing this with an updo or a 1920s finger wave, you're going to have to position the band higher on the head to avoid this problem.Still, it's quite a pretty accessory, so if you can accommodate a slight positioning adjustment, it's worth adding to your costume.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the weight of this item - it's a good piece of costume jewelry that's significantly better quality than what you would get in a Flapper Halloween costume.The band is a slightly stretchy black band, which cannot be resized. I worry that it might stretch out over repeated use but otherwise, I'm quite happy.

After I bought the dress, of course I needed to get the headpiece (see photo).The piece was beautifully made with crystal rhinestones, peacock feathers, alloy, high quality imitation pearls and elastic band. Everything was held together nicely and didn't fall apart during transit or when wearing.I thought the price to be reasonable.Therefore, I would recommend getting this to go with your flapper dress! If you don't have a flapper dress, get one! It's so fun!

I've been on the lookout for a headpiece for my 1920s costume. This is *perfect*. It's so pretty with just the right amount of wild. I've ordered costume jewelry before that looks ready to fall apart as soon as it comes out of the box, or looks completely different from the advertised pictures. This one is well made, no weird glue strands or bits hanging off, and the feathers are smooth and intact. I love the sparkling rhinestones.It has an elastic band in the back, but is not adjustable. There is a little give, just enough so it stays secure. I had no issues with it being too tight or falling off. I love it!

I absolutely love this! It is great 1920’s headband. I have a great flapper dress, but lacked something to make it fun. The head attire really is pretty & fun to wear. It is comfortable too. The peacock feathers are beautiful & the gemstones are a nice sparkly touch. Great for a Gatsby party or Halloween costume. Can’t wait to wear to a costume party, to get in the spirit of the season. Fun order, love the colors & look.

I feel the feathers are a bit ruffled, and the quality is not going to wow the red carpet, but for a sub-$20 headband it is really nice and honestly exceeds expectations.. Certainly good enough for a theme party or a costume/stage.

The picture I took is right after I got it out of the bag. It needs to be fluffed up a bit, but this is a gorgeous piece. Very pleased with this
