this product was surprisingly brilliant.I'm 5ft 3 and medium build female and this is a Asian brand so I think I am the target size for this item and it fits perfectly. I am usually size medium in clothing. this comes to just below mid calf length/ a couple inches above ankle. it would not be suitable for someone shorter than me and would not give as good coverage to anyone taller or larger than me (you may find a larger person finds the arm area too short as the fabric pulls around the body) this is basically a square folded in half (fixed with plastic poppers) with a hole for the head (and hood) . on me it's very loose and billowy. if you're a teen girl going to a festival, or a larger person, you may feel very frumpy and shapeless maybe even silly. it's like wearing a giant sack, no body shape at all. would fit a giant backpack under it easily. huge batwing armholes - you can see on me this covers down to my wrist. Has a zip going all the way down the front so I guess you could open it like a coat if you get too hot? it comes packaged in a super cute little pouch that says "open your arms, enjoy the charm of nature in the rain, your choice elegant in the rain". fabric is thin plastic, like what umbrella are made of. lightweight. lighter than umbrella and warm but not sweaty due to the open loose style. it has a hood with slight peak to keep the rain out your eyes and drawstringI would say it's perfect in the summer to pack in your bag and get it out in a sudden downpour. it's also large enough to wear over a giant coat in the winter if you want hands free without umbrella.Its also super perfect if you're popping to the gym in tiny leggings or crop top and want some modesty . normally id get changed at the gym but thanks to this style, it covers myself so I can fling it over my gym wear. it's also great if you're in you pajama and need to run to the shop in the rain. just fling it on and it covers everything.only downside is it's so loose and billowy you feel a bit of a wally!Also muslim ladies, this is super perfect to wear over jilbab or abaya, also very loose and modest if you want to go out quickly in home clothes underneath. not transparent or anythingEDIT: I just tested this in an extreme downpour of rain. The face peak didn't work, the hood was too big and even with drawstring, drapes over my eyes - I had to make the hood smaller at the back of the head using hair elastic so it didnt cover my eyes - even then it didnt keep my face dry. The body was nice and warm, not sweaty. It was giant and billowy and people were looking at me like a wally. BUT!!!! Below the knee I still got soaked. I think its because the wind blows the bottom part around, so it lets rain in, and the rain seeps up you clothes. So you would need waterproof trousers or leg warmers too. . Also my lower legs were exposed and got totally wet and soaking and freezing. Great for the body warm and dry , not great for the lower legs. Also remember waterproof gloves

Love these ponchos. Bought one for my daughter in law after the purchase of my own. .Covers all clothes and hiking bags. Pretty thick and defiantly waterproof. Long enough so that it reaches mid calf length for full coverage. Good for walking in but doesn’t work very well if you’re completing a climbing walk.

Wore these to an outdoor event where it rained so hard. Under this poncho it was completely dry - we were seated and our feet and bags that were also under the ponchos were also dry. I love the fact that it’s zipfront which meant after it had stopped raining the front can be undone and taken off without getting soaking wet! Excellent product and would highly recommend. I am 5’2”, and was an excellent length on me. My hubby is 5’10” and was past his knees - he was also completely dry!

Moved to Scotland and figured I would need some protection from the rain, not need to use it much but it's good! Really happy.

For anyone suffering with pain and in wheelchairs etc. as well as able bodied.First class in every way. Material, sturdiness, warmth, length, look. Can’t speak highly enough. Ordered second one for my daughter after purchasing for myself. I bought because I sit in a power chair and couldn’t find anything suitable to meet my particular needs. This covers everything a person needs both in chairs and out. Both of us went out yesterday in them and very satisfied especially as it was freezing, this item kept out the cold (especially myself as I suffer from arthritis in both legs). Just layers and a coat in extreme cold weather wasn’t enough, I always still felt cold and in a lot of pain. After experiencing using poncho, I was both warm and as a result in less pain.

I used that during a very rainy festival and it kept me dry for over 4 hours of constant rain. It’s quite spacious so I could wear my coat and a backpack underneath so all my belongings were dry as well. Folding it back into the little pouch it comes with is a pain, though, I never seem to be able to squeeze it back in.
