Well Designed and a Lot of Fun
I bought this product 3 years ago and have been very impressed with the quality, durability and the design. The boats are pretty water proof: occassionally the 5 year old runs them upside down in the water and has dropped the controller in the water with no ill effects. I tried the boat battery compartment when we were done. No water go into the interior of the boat beyond the battery compartment and the rechargable battery is encapsulated to protect it from water. No water got into the interior of the controller. The boats came with two sets of batteries so you can be charging one set while using the other. They also came with spare propellers in case you break them by running into too many rocks. Ours are still doing fine after many uses in our nearby river. They are pretty easy to use, one control for forward and one control to turn left or right. They go fast and churn the water behind them quite well. These boats have provided many hours of entertainment. It is one of the best and most enduring of toys we have purchased for our grand children. I would like to thank the engineers who designed it.Our grandchildren range in age from 5 to 18. The older kids are better at controlling them than the five year old but the five year old gets lots of fun out of it any way. They all enjoy it. Our border collie enjoys it as well although we have to restrain her because she likes to grab them out of the water and toss them in the air. So far no harm done. The kids get a big kick out of racing the boats under her legs when she is wading in the water.

The RC boats three packed worked
I bought these boats for the grandkids to use in the pool, the three pack boats with controller worked great, need some AA batt , the controllers design and functional was easy to operate, kept the kids happy, the double props on boats with extra props was most appreciated and extra recharge batteries was also helpful after 20 min, while one is being used the other is charged and ready to go. The boat speed was just right 360 deg, races, figure 8's crashing was fun times for all, Very happy with boats, thank you Amazon ! well done. Yes I would recommend this product. NO complaints.

Long lasting battery easy for kids to use
Lots of fun. The batteries lasted longer than the expected 20 minutes (for now). They are super simple to figure out so even the younger kids can have fun with them. They are quicker than I expected. My nieces and nephews played with them in the pool all week during their visit. They do slowly take on water so I recommend draining the water after every use to prolong their life. I just took a napkin and it soaked up every drop. Other than that, they are perfect fun for when the pool is too cold to swim in.

Great for grown ups!
I’ve had these two weeks and played (with my friends) around four times. The last two times, the blue boat won’t synch to the controller. The other two boats have a noticeable (15’) difference in range. Slow but expected. Fun for friends to try to swamp the other’s boater also tape safety pins to the front oF them and balloons to the back and “dogfight” it out.

Super fun for kids and great bang for your buck
My kids love these!!! I really like the fact that they have a reverse feature and come with extra batteries. The batteries take 30 minutes to 2 hours to charge, which isn't bad. Iblove the fact that it come with 3 boats which is perfect so each of my older kids can have the same toy but different color. Helps from them arguing over whose is better or faster.Pros: multi pack, extra batteries, can't go too far which is safer for kids, has reverse and great activity to get kids out of the house.Cons: can't automatically flip over.Must buy for kids or grandkids.

One controller controls multiple boats - No channel switch
For the price of 3 it wouldnt be bad... IF all the boats worked independently.Biggest / largest/ most annoying problem: One remote controls two of the boats. While one boat responds to none of the controllers. There is no channel switching / toggle to designate which remote goes to which boat.IF all the boats/controllers paired independently...roughly $20 per boat, they're fine, and are what anyone *should* realistically expect. Run time is fine (and each has an extra battery you can swap), speed is fine, turning is fine; It's not like they're super fancy / high costing RC boats; They're like the perfect pool or small calm pond type of RC....again roughly $20 per boat what would you expect? For those that complained "you have to have a computer to charge via USB?"...No, a computer isnt the only thing that has USB ports. They make power "bricks" that have usb ports instead of sockets. Think about the "cigarette" adapters for cell phone charging in cars, a lot of those are USB and it's clearly not a computer. For those that complained "tiny screws, it's so annoying"...It's really not that difficult.- The boat battery cover is really simple and easy to use, no screws, one "knob."- The controller cover has 1 screw. That's not that bad, OR, just take it out and dont use it again if you're that annoyed (the cover still slides/clicks in place, you dont need the screw)

Curb your expectations.
The media could not be loaded. This thing is so slow.Pros: Battery last a while. It works. Comes with 6 batteries and extra propellers, although I hit my vacuum line more than a few times and the props were fine.Cons: Ridiculously slow. Don't expect anything beyond a kids toy. The controller best fits a kids hand. Battery compartment for the controller is needlessly behind a screw. It's just not all that fun. Quality is fine for what you'd expect in a 3 pack, but I can't see anyone getting excited about this. Probably a good starter pack to determine if you want a "real" RC boat.I ran it through its paces, it maneuvers "meh" but does have enough power to get out of a pool skimmer entrance as long as it doesn't go behind the flapper.
