Beachcombers Resin Shark Figure Coastal Beach House Decor Decoration Multi

We had bought a shark almost just like and was my husbands favorite thing we had gotten on one of our many trips to the beach. Well it fell and part of the fin broke. We had been looking forever for a replacement. This one was almost an exact copy! He was so excited. It looks great!

For the price I paid, I think this is a very nice piece. My girlfriend loves sharks and she really likes this shark; it's currently being displayed in her kitchen.That being said, I was disappointed with the quality and presentation of the piece. First, I thought it was made of solid wood and it's not - it's made of porcelain and is very light-weight. It's also colored dark gray on top and white on the bottom... in the picture it just looks like unstained/slightly-stained wood.Second, it came with a broken fin - it was wrapped well but not tightly and as a result it must have broken during shipping it could have easily bounced around in its box.Third, we had issues gluing the fin back on. It's bad enough that it came broken, but the fact that the fin seems semi-resistant to gorilla glue is disconcerting.For $8, I could have done worse but it still wasn't as advertised. I would have preferred spending $20-30 on a nicer, solid wooden piece.

It is a nice piece, but almost identical to another piece I bought that was on a stand. The picture online shows it to be more of a tan-natural wood look. The one I got is gray. So not really what I thought I was getting for sure. But it's still a nice piece and a nice size and sits on my shelf of sharks just fine. Only three stars because it's not what is pictured.

I should have read the description better because I was not expecting something so small but it's still cute for what it is and now it just sits on a knick knack Shelf.
