Pretty, elegant, shiny… not the best edging
This is a lovely long shawl that will definitely suit my purpose: I was looking for a shoulder-cover for my evening ball gowns. It’s definitely versatile and can go with many outfits. It’s smooth and soft, very elegant.The stitching around the outside isn’t quite the best quality though… and the fabric is so thin that it’s almost see-through (not a problem for me). It’s on the verge of being a really good shawl for a dress-up trunk, versus for a fancy night out.

You shall go to the ball (well party anyway) in your satin shawl
A very pretty shawl which would brighten up a little black dress for the party season. The Emerald colour that I chose for my wife is very vibrant. The shawl is made from satin and is lightweight therefore it is more decorative rather than something to keep you warm. My wife says that It’s an ideal cover up for the upper arms draped across the shoulders or you could tie it like a scarf.It is a very pretty garment that has been finished off well and would make a good gift however, we do not feel that it is worth £16.99 and £11.99 would be more realistic.Hope this helps…

Basic shawl / wrap
This shawl was delivered swiftly by Amazon in standard packaging. This is a review of the black option, but other colours are available. It is a rectangle of satin feel material measuring 200 cm × 70 cm and is made from polyester.It can be worn in a number of different ways as a shawl or a wrap to cover your shoulders and although the material is quite thin and lightweight it does seem effective as long as it is not too chilly. It is not too expensive at less than £15 and can look quite stylish with an evening dress.
