Childhood classics
I remember having seen 2 out of these movies as a young child. Unfortunately I hadn't seen them in years, but once I saw this triple pack, I knew I couldn't pass up such a wonderful opportunity."An American Tale" was wonderful to rekindle with, as I had only seen it once before. The audience is instantly drawn in to the lovable character of Fievel who gets separated from his family and must find them once again in America. The parallel between Nazi's, cats, Jews and mice may not be grasped on the younger audience, but as an adult I appreciated it.The animation in all three holds it's ground, which is nice, as some animation movies have suffered if they weren't released by Disney. These didn't. Don Bluth is superb.I had never seen "Balto" (unthinkable as it may be) and I was very much pleased by what it captured. The outsider in all of us can absolutely identify with Balto, the main character, which is half-dog and half-wolf, never truly belonging anywhere. Although I predicted the ending, underdog pulls through, I found the movie engaging none the less. I was enthralled with the story and Kevin Bacon does a splendid job in capturing the essence of Balto.Lastly, "The Land Before Time", seen for the last time ages ago and so I remember only the main plot line and not the small details. It is the small details which make this movie truly magical. I loved finding Little Foot once again and I was surprised at how touching the movie turned out to be. It astonished me to see how much heart and soul it contained.Overall, all three movies, were a complete delight to behold and at such a price, who could refuse?

Perfect 90's Nostalgia Pack
As a kid growing up in the 90's, this pack is just as relevant and nostalgic as any Disney movie at more than half the price. These movies, similar to Disney, all have more deep life lessons hidden among the broadway tunes and cute characters and are perfect to show to children who will later appreciate it. You get three classics from the minds of Spielberg as well as George Lucas for around 10$, better than any bargain bin I've dug through. The only thing you might be missing out on are the American Tail and Land Before Time sequels, but Spielberg and Lucas were off the project at that point and it shows clear as day. The magic is definitely lost in those sequels. But if you're showing to your kids and they happen to like talking dinosaurs and aren't so much into story, then maybe a Land Before Time pack is for you.

Who doesn't love these classics!
I bought this set for a Friend to watch with her Son as he grows up. We both enjoyed these movies and she is interested to see Balto as she never knew that one, herself.I assured her it was adorable. The Land Before Time is sad but still a classic kids movie and much more tolerable than its successors! An American Tale is so Cute and I only wish I could have gotten her Fievel Goes West as Well. As it was I decided to also buy Charlotte's Web (another classic!) and I am not made of money so Fievel Goes West will have to wait for next year's birthday!

Amazing collection 👌
I bought this dvd collection for my 2 year old nephew and he loves it and now I'm his favorite aunt. Three great movies at such a good price that I had to get a copy for myself!

just as expected
All dvd's worked and were just as I'd expected. Other reviews posted negatively regarding the quality of the picture, but I never expected something remastered as they never have been. I expected to see what I did when I was a kid and pass that on to mine, which I did and he LOVES! Especially Land Before Time. So, if you want some high res, remastered edition you should pass, but if you want what you saw as a kid, this is it!

Nostalgia away!
It's lot of nostalgic classics in one box for a decent price. Used to have them on vhs. An American Tail and Balto are on the same disc. Land Before Time is on the second disc. My only issue--and maybe this is a studio thing for transferring media from vhs to dvd--but there are a few parts where background sounds and voices were added and even removed. Most people might not notice, but I did because I watched this movie A LOT. One example is that the scene where Fievel mistakes a gramophone for his Papa playing violin. There is more background talking especially when he is knocked out the window. The bit of violin that played as he realized he was wrong was not there. There was also a train whistle when the cossack cats were under the snow about to crash into each other... and a few minor nameless characters were revoiced by different actors in orphan alley. No big deal, but weird choices if you ask me.

3 classics together
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars, is that I would have prefer if it had the french Canadian version in it. I believe it's the best version for the voices.
