They are sturdy and well priced

Growing up in a Chinese household, bamboo toothpicks were never far. We used them to eat cut up fruit and other soft, bite sized snacks. We also used them after meals to discreetly pick out food stuck between our teeth. However, many of them were cheap quality; they splintered or split, they were discolored or they smelled like some kind of disinfecting/bleaching chemical. These don't have the first two issues. However, they do smell a little chemical-y, but the smell dissipates soon after you take it out of the container. And I like that they're flat on one end so that you don't accidentally poke yourself getting a piece of fruit from the platter.

These are very nice picks. I was looking for a toothpick that didn't break off in my teeth and wasn't disappointed. I took them out of the container they were in and added them to my own dispenser. The dispenser they come in also works well. I would recommend these to anyone needing a good toothpick.

These were a huge hit at the party! They were gold with a little top. They're a bit long, but honestly it wasn't a factor. I used them for chicken and waffles on a stick and it was perfect. They were perfectly sturdy and thickness worked well for a chicken nugget and waffle. They weren't too sharp which made them ok for the kids too. They were easy to use and didn't have any weird flavor. Loved having them and leftovers will be used at Christmas.

They all don’t stay open. But I ordered more than I need so they will do the job. They were a lot cheaper at a local party store. I should have checked there first.
