Laube Blade Box Holds 12 Dog Grooming Clipper Blades

This is the most inexpensive case that held the most blades, and since I do a vast amount of dogs per day, I like having lots of blades so they can cool down. Thought this case is great for organizing, it's NOT good for travel, keep it upright, the top is too tall and if it gets turned, you'll open the box to find your blades all over the place, there's just too much headroom to hold them securely for travel. Plus there's really nothing holding the top on. This box serves my purpose for organization, but again, dont get it if you're planning to use it a lot for traveling.

Item arrived this afternoon. This case is good but could be better. I did add a piece of foam inside the lid to keep blades from rattling around. The plastic seems hard and brittle but time will tell how long it lasts. The lid does fit snug enough that it won't just fall off and it does latch into place. If I had to travel and had this case inside a larger box where it might tip over I would definitely use a heavy rubber band around it but I use a regular tool box with an inside caddy so there isn't a lot of space.

This is exactly what I wanted!My only issue is you need to be careful if you're traveling like I am. You'll want rubber bands to keep the lid on securely and you may want to consider a foam strip in the lid so your blade edges don't constantly hit the plastic. I'll only be traveling with these for a few weeks though so it's not that big on an issue.However, if you aren't carting these around a lot there is no issue at all. :)

As an earlier review mentioned this is a great case, however, with the lid on the blades will rattle around and come out of their slots. I cut a piece of foam to fit the top of the lit, about just about 1/2 inch. Now blades do not rattle around and stay in place and remain in slots. Love the case, fits in my organizer just great. You can still put lid under the box when working and it keeps blades handy for change out.

I ordered two of these blade boxes (one for ceramic and one for snap-on-blades plus miscellaneous blades) and they fit my needs perfectly. If you don't wish to use the lid, it fits very nicely under the blade box. If you travel with your dog grooming equipment either use rubber bands to keep the lid on or choose another storage box for your blades as there is no way of really securing the lid to keep the blades from falling out. The blade boxes were packaged well and arrived within the estimated delivedry time.

As a barber I use his for my metal blades but they fall out if you travel with your tools it’s best if you’re going to leave it on your station

Good 'idea' bad concept... I wouldn't dare carry my blades in this, without sponge material. But it's relatively easy to fabricate this yourself. And you will break teeth on your blades, if you simply use this box without lining it with anything, because there's too much space for your blades to move. Not a good idea for on-the-go groomers. I lined the inside slots, and the top of the case with sponge material, and now my blades fit nice and tight. But if you're not looking to spend added time and money, this isn't for you. But it is worthy, if you want to customize to fit your blades how you want them to fit. All in all, great idea... Not worth the money...

I purchased this to store the blades I use daily in the salon. It is perfect because when it gets hairy from dog hair or greasy from blade oil I can easily wash it. The lid fits on snug to so you know they won't fall out.
