Schutt Sports AiR Maxx Football Rib Protector

Bought this for my son (6 ft, 230 pounds) who is QB for his HS Varsity team. He has had lower back issues and I was looking for extra protection for him. Originally had the Schutt back plate that attaches to shoulder pads. My son's team got new shoulder pads that do not work with the original back plate (no screw holes). So, this "harness" type works great. My son likes it and has worn it for every game this year.

We had lots of trouble with the bolts staying in that connected it to the shoulder pads. They continuously loosened and we quickly lost one of them during the first week of practice

We got these for my son for middle school football. They fit perfect and do the job well. They came on time and held up very well the whole season. I would highly recommend!

Like most kids, my son didnt want to use the suspenders, so we attached them directly to the shoulder pads. A few weeks later one of the screws pops out. They are sitting in the closet collecting dust now.

I bought for my son he plays QB at the high school level and it was a good investment. I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for our son. It fit him very well and worked well without affecting his mobility. He was able to run and tackle the same as before we got it but was more protected doing it.
