Not all Turkish towels are created equal.
I have a couple huge Turkish towels, which are amazing, but I wanted a smaller one for my hair. I bought this one based primarily on the dimensions, which are comparable to a standard bath towel. I'm glad it wasn't my first experience with a Turkish towel, or it would have turned me off to them entirely. My other Turkish towels (which I also purchased on Amazon, manufactured by Bersuse) are a double layer of loosely woven, very fine fibers, with woven edge bindings. This towel puts me more in mind of a cotton tablecloth or tea towel - tightly woven thicker cotton fiber, with rolled and stitched edges. It is stiff and not at all soft, and it wrinkles like CRAZY with use. I know it would soften with time and use, but if it wears anything like tea towels then it will never become especially luxurious. I tried wrapping my hair up in this towel after a shower, and after 5 minutes my hair was still sopping wet, and the towel looked like a mangled mess. It's not very absorbant. These issues aside, I do like the aesthetics of this towel. The white is a true, crisp white, which looks nice against my grey bathroom wall. I also appreciate the twisted fringe. It looks tidy and should wash and wear well over time. It would make a decent gym or travel towel, as it folds up much smaller than a terry towel. It's a bit small as a beach towel, but I think it would do well with sand. The tight weave should shake it off easily. It would also make a very nice table spread, or maybe something to sit on outside. Unfortunately I don't really have a need for a towel dedicated to any of these purposes, so I'll probably be returning this one, and I'll go back to using a terry towel for my hair until I find something better.

Great purchase
Bought these to sit on for my dining room chairs. Easy to wash and dry--put out on the line and dried quickly. The more washed the softer they do get. I did spill some curry chicken on them and feared with the light grey they would be stained. But put some stain spot remover, washed as recommended and poof all gone---YEAH!!! Tassle is not soft but it is very durable and actually works better on my chairs. Would recommend to others.

I am pleased, they work great at the beach
I purchased a few Turkish towels for my beach bag and I bought the grey and mint towel for the kids. I washed the towels a couple times already and they are still stiff and have not softened up. For the price, I am pleased, they work great at the beach. They are a little smaller. Out of the 4 Turkish towels I purchased these are my least favorite only due to softness and size (the others are so much softer). When not in use I have them hanging on a hook or on the couch. They look great. I'll keep them.

It’s a buy
If your thicker then a snicker I don’t see how this could be used as a towel at the beach, but I got it as an accent towel for my bathroom so it was perfect for what I was intending to use it for. Well made and cute! The color looks more red than coral to me, but I am still happy with the product!

Perfect for travel or Everyday use
Bought for a one week trip to Mexico and I was only packing a backpack. I absolutely love it! It so small and compact but without compromising the towel aspect of it. At first I thought it wasn’t drying right but after a couple of washes it seems to become even more absorbent than the last use. I’ve had it for months now and no unraveling. I use it every time I travel or on my hair when I need it dried really quickCons:Upon opening I noticed some tassels were loose so before washing I re-did/tighten all of them to ensure they wouldn’t come undone.First time coming out of the dryer it was a wrinkled mess and I had to iron it because it was so bad. After that the towel comes out alright; no more ironing.

Not the right fabric
This is definitely not made from Turkish cotton. The fabric is different that the other Turkish towels I own. I really wish sellers wouldn't call their towels "Turkish Towels" if they're not actually made out of Turkish cotton.

Very happy
I purchased this specifically for using as a bath towel because my terrycloth towels don't dry out fast enough and sometimes smell mildewey. It took some getting used to, but now I feel as if I'm using a much more sanitary option. Also looks great in my bathroom. I will buy more!

Love love love
I ordered 2 and then 1 more for my kods bathroom. Initially I ordered for my decorative than function. My husband complained they were rough. At first they were but as I have washed them they have gotten softer each time. They have not shrunk! No fading. Ive washed probably 5 times. Hot water. Ill order more. I wished they didnt look slightly wrinkled even out of the dryer but still love and a steal at 9.99
