I ordered this to have a karaoke party at my house for my birthday. The first one that came was not working so I got a replacement and it worked great. The microphones have different setting effects and I love the little party light ball.

bought this as a gift for my husband and had a lot of fun with it the first day it arrived. The second time of using it, the sound stopped in the middle of a song, tried to restart but could not turn off the machine.... considered ordering a replacement and gave it a second chance, but the return/replace process does not give a replacement option... oh well

The speaker is a bit small. However it packs a punch, light show is cool. And portable. Mics worked great. Great for small party.

I'm a karaoke junkie and I've got high standards. This little machine is pretty stellar! The sound quality on the speaker is very good and it's super easy and self explanatory to connect and run. It's the second machine like this that I've owned and it has pros and cons compared to the other one. I like that the microphone volume can be controlled separately from the music volume. My other machine does not have this option and I find myself drowning out the background tunes unless I pull back. This one can be adjusted separately which is much appreciated. The biggest con I'd say compared to my other machine is the need for batteries. It does not come with batteries and it does not have a way to charge them if you were to put rechargable batteries into the microphones. So that leaves you needing to keep plenty of batteries on hand... big negative and the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. The other machine I have automatically charges the mics when they're docked in the station. If this machine did that? It'd be perfect.

That being said, I purchased it for my grandson and will give it to him for his birthday (6 year) in April. So unfortunately, I won't be able to review the "gratitude" level of the experience ... by him, OR his parents :) until next year. Oh... you bet I can't wait to do that too...For now, I am going to review the quality of the machine, the feel, the sound, etc. but I won't be singing in it... not even alone.First Things First: I have made a personal decision to knock off 1 full star on all of my ratings when a manufacturer decides to go CHEAP and not include a power block with their product. They happily include a USB Micro or USB Type C cable for you but they inform you that YOU will need to provide your own means to plug this device into a wall outlet. I'm sorry... that is just being CHEAP, and me... old Texian... well, I'm gunna call you out on it. BAM... -1Now for the meat... this product came packaged Very Nicely. Good packing, secure, nice box, just the things that you don't often see these day. The box is so nice that it will be awesome under the gift warp. Oh... all of the verbiage on the box is relevant, correctly spelled, and grammatically correct.After finding a power block (the wife's side of the bed... she won't know till later) and plugging the box in to charge, I gave it a whirl. The disco ball is cute…. Lets just get that out of the way now. Whatever… The knobs are smooth and well placed. The box responded to the music but I didn’t try to download any Karaoke music… I’ll let the kids do that so they don’t miss out on any of the fun. I did use a USB stick with some songs on it to listen to the music. It sounded better than I thought it would to be honest. The Mic has various levels to allow you to over-sing or under-sing along with the music. All features that I tried worked very nicely and I have to be honest… It’s kinda cute.I will definitely edit this review next spring because I think it is important to see how a youngster enjoys and/or hates something like this. Oh… the reason I got this was because this kid SINGS ALL DAY LONG. Now mind you… it’s gawdawful but… he just loves music. I introduced him to my favorites.. Ozzy, Aerosmith, Rush, etc. just to get a foothold in his brain and … it stuck. So I truly believe it will be something he will play with. Look for the follow up soon.The only drawback that I’ve found is that the Handle Strap and Mic Straps are … cheap. If the box had been made wider to accommodate two holes at the top to drop the mics into, THAT would have been perfect. I won’t drop any stars for that because it is exactly as it was advertised… but if they had ASKED ME… I would have told them ahead of production.For now.. It sure looks, feels, sounds… well worth it.
