Work for lighter pain.
I used this cream after a very hard back training day and it was very relieving for me. It took a couple of minutes to work.Does not have an overpowering scent but it does have.Does not leave your skin sticky or greasy. In the other hand, my husband who has a shoulder injury and has very hard episodes of pain, used it but it was not as powerful so he can be painless.

It’s OK, but definitely not my favorite
I have been rubbing this into my husband’s sore muscles in his shoulders and neck area every day when he gets home from work after his shower and he says that he notices a bit of relief. It seems to work OK but for me, I don’t really notice a whole lot of relief, even though I have more pain than he does.

Moderatly expensive for a generic. Has the same active ingredient as Lidocaine and store brands.
I quickly found a 2.7-ounce package of Walmart's version of Lidocaine creme for $5.12. That equals $1.90 per ounce. This no-name DRAGON product at $6.93 for the same 2.7 ounch package size = $2.56 per ounce. Obviously, picking up Walmart's Equate brand will save you some money. This stuff IS cheaper than Lidocaine at non-discounted prices at places like Walgreens, and even many drug store generics. You probably can't go wrong with this since the active ingredient is the same. But buying something else could save you some money. My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.
