Good product and easy to set up. The only thing off-putting is the color - yikes.

I imagine this would be the perfect solution for installing a sprinkler system. My experience was renovating a ten zone system installed the the previous home owner.If you are installing in multi-zones of 2-3 valves you can buy the entire manifold ready to install, less PVC cement. I purchased 3 valve manifolds and then called Orbit to figure out the parts needed to add additional valves which I ordered through Amazon. Orbit was very helpful and even e-mailed me the part numbers I needed. I also ordered the Orbit underground boxes and box bottoms which are made to hold these manifolds. Once installation is complete repairs to the system like replacing a malfunctioning valve is simply hand loosen/tighten the joints. No cutting, fitting, glueing involved. This is the third sprinkler system I've owned/maintained; wish I had this from the first one.

Thank you... This coupler made my life so easy it's unbelievable. According to the guy at Home Depot I was going to have to make some crazy concoction with several pieces to join the two valve units. I called Orbit and they wanted to charge me almost $30.00 to send me the one piece. But they did tell me that Home Depot would forgo the delivery charge because they where a distributer for them. I called them twice and got no where. I did a search on my favorite site, Amazon.com and found the piece, ordered it and got it within tree days. I was pleased. Thank you Amazon.com.

Used this to ad another port to our 3-port manifold. Installed as easy as expected.

I purchased 2 of the Obit three valve manifold assembly from Amazon. After installing them and using them for a few days I had a problem with both of the manifolds’ connections to the valve corresponding to my circuit. I found that the rubber "O" was pushed out of the coupling and the valve connection, on 2 valves in one manifold and 1 on the other manifold. I removed the valve and coupling on each of the valves in the manifold that leaked. I called the Orbit to explain the problem and I was told to buy replacement couplings. They never offered to replace the defective ones. I ended fixing my leak my way and everything is now fully functional after 3 months of continued use.

So orbit has a 3 valve manifold that I purchased and I never thought i would need to expand beyond that but what do you know life is full of surprises. Instead of starting from scratch you can actually buy another 3 valve manifold and connect them with this handy swivel. They have O rings at the point of connection and they have not leaked on me yet. This is the easiest way to create a 6 valve manifold without spending a fortune.
