I've been working extensively with LED string lights for the past year with my hobby that is quickly turning into a small business. I've tested brands like Govee, Philips, and a vast number of less expensive battery powered LED strings.There are a number of things that set these apart from the rest:1) The COB lighting provides a far brighter and evenly lit light source over traditional LEDs2) These things put out near zero heat3) I love that these are USB and can be powered with just about anything4) These strips are far easier to lay down and curve, and they stay down with excellent adhesion5) The remote if RF and not IR so you don't need line of site to make these lights dance6) The App is easy to use and feature rich7) I was surprised at how neutral the white light is given there are no dedicated warm/cool white diodes, this is actually a big deal as most traditional LED strips produce a very blue (cool) white.8) I've had some technical questions, because I'm a nerd, and their customer service team has been incredible! I get detailed answers back within 24 hours or less, and the team really goes out of their way to help out and support my unique use case for their products.It's rare to find a well made and thought out product with such a good group of people supporting it. I'm really looking to seeing what Pautix comes up with next!

Gotten a bunch of different strips lately, this one was great. Very smooth and bright. Cut segments are a nice distance.If your soldering these, check continuity after each joint. The pads on the COB are a little trickier than 5050 RGB strips.Would buy again if I needed RGB, but I am going the WLED away with addressable. The same thing is also available for addressable at nearly same price :>

I had a project that needed strip lights but the number of choices out there is insane. Some were way too long, some were expensive and some didn't do what I was looking for. This was just right. It came with a remote and you don't have to aim it at the strip to make it work. The other option is to d/l the app and that works great. Easier to fine tune what you want quickly. It also works with a power bank which was just what I needed.

I have just installed these COB RGB lights in the kitchen cabinets and it’s highly unfortunate but the colors are very inconsistent. One strip will be cool white and the other will have a reddish hue, both connected to the same driver and should be color linked. I’ve swapped the power supplies, drivers, etc, and the colors are consistent the same as before the swaps. I’ve been using the variable white strips for years and loved them and was very excited to see the RGB variant finally. Unfortunately, several hundred dollars later, these just are not time same quality.Update: (6/20/23) changing the rating to 5 stars merely for their customer service. They have sent a refund and replacement units even though the install occurred well after the return period of the item expired. It’s good to see there are still companies that stand behind and support customers if there are problems

These are my first RGB light strands and are they bright.A couple of things to keep in mind when mounting them. 1. Do not crease the lights as you run a chance in damaging the wires/rgb leds. 2. Plan out as to how you want placed.PROs: to can connect multiple strands together but be careful not to exceed the 3 amp capacity on the controller. The formula for this is watts divided by voltage. The 3 meter lights are 40 watts divided by 24 volts which equals to 1.66 amps. I have connected two of the 3 meter lights together with no issue. I am also using the 5 amp power supply.CON: even though you can connect strands together they have 7 inches of connecting cable at each end so if you join two strands, you will have find a way to hide or deal with the 14 inches of wire. I tried my best to make it look like a continuous strand. Pictures provided.It would be great if they had shorter power cables.Another minor issue I had is withe remote. I will have to press one of the functions more than once for it to switch to that function.I do suggest getting a clear double sided tape to help with the mounting. I found the provided tape just wasn’t sticky enough. I purchased Gorilla Tough & Clear mounting tape. Cut one inch pieces then cut piece in half. You will have to remove the protective covering from the provided tape in order for the other tape to stick to it. I placed the half inch by 1 inch Gorilla tape about every three feet.Over this is good product and would recommend.

These new LED strips are much better than most others on the market. Their brightness is more uniform with less dark spots. The ability to change custom colors from a phone app is awesome in addition to IR and RF remote controls. Jamie in customer service was really helpful. She responded to all of my support emails in a day or 2 and was committed to total customer satisfaction. She offered to send me the correct controller and remote control free of charge after I bought the wrong ones. When I needed to join the RGB LED strips together, she sent me all the instructions step-by-step with photos for each step. I will definitely buying more products from this vendor and highly recommend to others.

Light strip would not change color. Stuck on red. Was wired correctly as my old 5050 light strip did work and worked again once I disconnected the COB strip and wired the old ones back in.Even cut off the connector (which was not suppose to come with these lights) and wired straight to my LED controller. Still would not work.

The lights themselves are great but it isn’t a kit so doesn’t come with a remote but tells you what it works with. The only one I could find on Amazon is IR so it requires direct line of site which is horrible for what we do at our company. I’m going to attempt to pair it with one of our frequency remotes so hopefully that solves the problems but otherwise this is a HUGE advancement in lightning to avoid seeing diodes if your application requires it.

You would think it comes at least with wires required to turn the lights on but they don't.It's only the strip. And when you want to buy the wires they cost 2x more than what they're supposed to...
