Amarula Gin, 70cl | African Gin Made with Marula Fruit Spirit

I have been drinking gin for around 4 years now and this is now very much one of my favourites. I find some classic gins too over powering or I don’t like the after taste, but equally not a fan of flavoured gins. This is much more delicate and smoother than many of the well know classical gins, which really works for me. Can’t wait to share it with my gin loving friends.

I love to collect gins - and jumped when I saw Amarula has a new gin as I love the liqueur. It's a very easy sipper and a good gin for cocktails. Not overpowering in juniper - and you can really taste its part of the Amarula collection. I'm on the lookout for gin gifts having started my Christmas shopping already - this one is sure to please a few gin lovers!

Lovely, fresh citrussy Gin. The aromatics are well balanced. It’s got a hint of the exotic without being too far fetched or overly flavoured with one specific aromatic. Nice to try something different and would definitely buy again.

Fresh citrusy Gin, would highly recommend. Always nice to try gin from outside the UK and great to see the supporting of the conservation of African elephants. All round really enjoyed it :)

I really had no idea what to expect from this, but thought it looked cool (who doesn't love elephants!). What a fantastic surprise... I took it to a bank holiday weekend BBQ and everyone loved it - just perfect for gin & tonics.

This Gin was superb and unique, absolutely worth a try at such a great price!

This is officially my new favourite gin. Floral on the nose, with a lingering sweetness on the palate and a slight spice edge to it. Absolutely delicious!

I’ll be honest, I have never eaten, or even smelled, amarula fruit, so I have no idea whether this gin is faithful to the flavour or not. However, what I can say is that this is a lovely smooth gin, and it goes down a treat with standard tonic and some ice.The bottle is attractively presented with a wooden finish cork and a nice little knotted rope around the neck so it’ll look great on your bar, a very classy addition to your gin collection. Can’t really go wrong with this gin, it’s easy on the tastebuds and it’s something new to try.
