Not easy to replace but worth it
I bought this set to fix a PS5 controller with drift issues. I see that some people open the potentiometers and replace only the wheel. That could work if that is the part with problems, but the body contains the resistive part that also is worn out. So I decided to do the full replacement.I have a good desolderer, the one with the vacuum pump, still was difficult to remove all the solder and be able to release the old potentiometers. You have to be careful because the pcb lines are too small and prone to break. Finally I was able to remove the potentiometers and install the new ones. Also the set comes with a small circuit with two micro-potentiometers to do the fine tunning. Those are optional but I decided to add them, they are soldered on top of the pcb. I used an online gamepad tester to check the alignment, they were almost at the center, I still used the two fine tunning potentiometers to set it right at the center.I was going to replace the ones in my other controller that still works fine but it is so much work and risk of breaking thenI will do it when it starts failing.

Worked great for PS4
My first attempt I tried taking off the entire joystick module because I was afraid of breaking something, but this was actually really difficult and not necessary. You can just bend the old pot away from the module slightly, desolder it, and yoink it off. Just slide the new one in and solder. E.z.It came with some SMD resistors but I have no idea how you would even attempt to utilize them... I ignored them.

Not for PowerA ProSwitch controller
Got the parts switched out only to find they don't work for the analog stick. The stub hole that the mechanical tab goes through on the pot is to big and the stick does not engage with the inner disc.

The color of the disc inside has different size holes, still fixed issue after sharing parts.
So my ps4 control has the orange 10 k version but the disc on mine are white and these are black. I swapped one out and it didn't work. so looking into it, I found that the center hole on the black is larger that the original white ones. So I used the original white center disc after cleaning it and put it in the new orange piece and problem solved.

Not compatible with PS5 controller
metal potentiometer disc fits inside of x and y casings but the small peg that sticks out of the pot is too small to rotate the potentiometer disc at all, rendering it useless. 2.3k ohm is not compatible with PS5 controller maybe try 2.1k

Fixed my Drift issue
I purchased these to fix a drifting issue on one of my Playstation 4 controllers. Worked like a charm. No more drifting and I didn't have to spend 60+ dollars on a new controller. Make sure you identify the Potentiometer in your controller before purchasing. Refer to the picture with the Potentiometer index to get the right ones for your controller. 5 out of 5 stars.
