This is not a rock-hard, acrylic or thin, clear plastic material. Our semi-flexible, custom made-and-designed, Armor Guard custom teeth protectors come in 2 different materials of your choice. First is our flexible, soft EVA material( default picture shown ) that is recommended for light-to-moderate grinding and clenching with no TMJ symptoms. It is also for those who prefer a softer, cushion feel when they grind or clench. Our second material is flexible yet semi-hard. It is designed to offer teeth protection for moderate-to-heavy grinders or clenchers with multi-symptoms. It will help relieve symptoms like headaches; soreness in the jaw muscles, ear, or neck; and other jaw issues. It is an extremely durable, dense, hard-yet-flexible EVA material. Our soft material (shown above in the default picture) comes in a clear color with a standard 3 mm thickness for comfort and durability. We also offer a 2 mm and 2.5 mm thickness for users that prefer a thinner material. Our semi-hard material is cloudy in color and offers your choice of thickness in 2 mm, 2.5 mm, or 3 mm. Our semi-hard material will retain your teeth. If you have a previous stone mold from your dentist, you can send us your mold instead of making a teeth impression. Saved money and worthy every penny.
I used a mouth guard for sleeping for over 20 years and paying $600 at the dentist annually is no longer an option. I ordered this kit and it came with two size trays for making the mold. The large was way too large for mouth and the small was maybe a little too small, but it actually worked out.My first attempt at kneading the two clays together to form the clay tube for placing into the blue tray heated up so quickly I couldn't even sink my teeth into it. I used a watch and followed the directions from the paper and watched the video. I called the company and they immediately sent me a new two part clay packet. The second time it worked perfectly. I went with the more clay then directed and just removed the excess.When you place it into your mouth, don't over bite, and ensure you bite straight up so you don't get a mold that makes your teeth realign after prolonged use.It fits perfectly in my mouth and is a little smaller than the one I get from my dentist, but it works great. I've been using it for two weeks with no problems.Once I sent in my mold, I received my mouth guard back in two weeks.Highly recommended to use this company and save lots of money.

Huge Change of Opinion
I am so happy I found this product, finally I have something that I could afford that helped with my teeth grinding without it costing a fortune. They did a great job with forming it perfectly with my teeth. Thanks so much!4 months later: I was excited about this product because I desperately needed something to help with the grinding of my teeth and couldn't afford the cost from a dentist. The first few months they worked great but then I was seeing how the mouth guard was starting to deteriorate or change to a whitish chalky color. I went a little while not wearing it but recently I used it again, only to wake up in the middle of the night with my mouth tasting so disgusting I thought I was going to throw up and the insides of my mouth felt swollen too. Since it was in the middle of the night I couldn't really see what was going on I just wanted the horrible taste out of my mouth. The following morning I was able to see that my gums on the lower part of my jaw on both sides were covered in sores and I also felt very sick to my stomach. This could only have been from the mouth guard. My mouth felt and tasted horrible. If this turns out to be some sort of chemical that can cause poisoning from the product I will be looking into suing the company, for they obviously did not test to see what happens to their product after being used for awhile.

Not as good as the one I bought from my dentist
I had a super thick, rigid dental guard, which I bought from my dentist but is getting worn, and bought one of these as a backup and possible replacement. I ordered the thickness recommended by the company, and it was far thinner and less rigid than my dentist-supplied one. It also didn't fit as snugly, which can be a potential problem for the wearer's teeth. Furthermore, it wasn't nearly as comfortable, and I had to trim off a section at the back, as well as soften and mold the jagged edge with a candle (this is what the company recommended). It was much cheaper than my dentist-supplied one, but as the saying goes, I got what I paid for.

Great Night Guards! Go for the twofer when you get the chance - it’s worth the extra $5
I have ordered this particular product several times over the past 5 years; I have severe TMJ and am an “uber” grinding machine (so super hard on my teeth and night guards... and these guards stand up to the test and blow my expectations out of the water. They are significantly less than those produced through my dental office and more durable. Highly recommend!!

Exactly what we needed for our daughter
Excellent product! It’s a process to make the mold and impression; and you have to mail it back to the company however the finished product is a great (dentist) quality guard that costs much less the ones that the dentist would charge for. Our daughter has no problem sleeping with it and it has stopped her teeth grinding when she sleeps. I highly recommend!

A professional is needed to make this product work.
This was a terrible purchase. In order to use the product you would needs to be a professional dentist. I was not able to create a form for my teeth without the material hardening beyond any flexibility. This is why we have dentists. They charge so much more but you do not waste your money on poor directions and an inability to follow the directions included. So dissapointed! Go to your dentist if you need this type of product!
