Loud and long-screaming but hoped for better sound quality. Sound quality is average due to the small sound box that comes with the doormat. Overall, considering quality and cost, I would give it 3 stars. I purchased another brand Halloween sound doormat several years ago (but lost it in moving) and it was far superior; it had 4 separate sounds (wolf howl, thunder, witch's scream and chainsaw).

There's not much to say about this. It works well. Every time it was stepped on it triggered the audio box without fail.

Did not work

I am disabled and i Pca's who sometimes go out back through the slider and then not lock it properly after... so I thought this would be great to alert me when they go on the patio. Well it did but it also went off when rain hit it or leaves blow on it. Also water eventually ruined the speaker box. If I get this or any other sound doormat again I will put the speaker in a rubber glove and have someone help me tie the glove like you would tie a balloon.
