Spirit Animal Decomposition Book: College-ruled Composition Notebook With 100% Post-consumer-waste Recycled Pages

I bought four of these notebooks because my fiancée found and purchased one in a local store and I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try them myself. First, the designs/artwork are really cool and give the notebook a unique feel that a traditional composition book doesn't quite do. Second, they are 100% Post-Consumer Waste which if you care about the planet, you can feel good that this wasn't made with new materials and is mostly, if not totally, biodegradable. Third, it is just as good of quality as any other composition book on the market, and lastly, it is really affordable! If you do journaling, note taking, or simply need a basic notebook, get one of these.

I bought up a bunch of books like this one for a few projects I've been tackling in the shop. These have survived showers of Sparks, getting splashed with various cutting fluids and oils, and I even accidentally lit one on fire with a stick welder! Amazingly, these books are tremendously durable, and the paper quality is top-tier. I have a great many pens that won't write well anymore, but the paper seemed to effortlessly tease out the last bit of ink from those pens I might have otherwise discarded. All in all, these "Decomposition Books" are the best purchase I've made in 2019.

BUY THIS NOTEBOOK. It is more beautiful than the pictures here do justice. I got it for a grimoire but it could be used for anything. It looks straight up vintage and is way higher quality than any comp book I've found in a store. You can feel the weight of it in your hands - it is true quality, plus enchanting imagery and great cream/green color scheme. I'll definitely be buying more designs from this series for myself and for others as gifts. Couldn't be happier with my purchase! (in case this review gets pinned to multiple books from this series, I'm speaking of the forest animals one with deer on it. But I truly believe they must all be amazing)

I love that it looks nice without being too plain or super flashy, and the fact that it is recycled only sealed the deal. Worth the money IMO.

I received this notebook and it was almost bent in half. While I can still use it, it was bent and not up to standards. If you would like to send a new one, great. Sending it back at this price is too much of a hassle, and I will still use it as a scrap notebook. I love the art on these, but was disappointed to get it bent up and creased. Gave it two stars instead of one since I will still use it and it is not worth the return hassle.

Have this for nursing school and it’s great - super durable and good for the environment!

Great design, even inside cover design which is fun and unique from the typical composition book - however, when I added this to my cart it was only $6.72, then after placing my order and going back to see tracking, etc...it said the individual price including shipping was $17.52, nearly $20 for a little notebook? NEVER. Very disappointed in pricing techniques, if the chosen price available is sold out, then don't charge me the next price - cancel my order altogether Amazon...

El cuaderno es muy bonito y me gusta mucho el hecho de que sea reciclado. Lo único es que como está cosido, cuando esta cerrado, se queda un hueco por la mitad de las páginas.

This was my third "Decomposition Book". I bought the first one because of the design and because of the "sustainability aspect", and bought two more because the size is just great for writing and they are pretty in a simplistic way. I will probably get a lot more in the future - my favourite notebook so far.The pages are thin, so if you love to write with ink, you probably shouldnt buy the book (I use ballpoint and gel pens, they work fine).

Love the notebook, but NOT in the condition I received it in - it was horribly bent upon arrival. Not to mention, the shipping took quite some time. Beautiful notebook though! =D

素朴でとても可愛いノートです。このノートの表紙はザラザラしたボール紙に大豆インクで印刷されています。全てリサイクル素材で作っているというコンセプトが好きで、デザインもとても気に入っています。日本のアマゾンでの取り扱いがない時に米アマゾンで一目惚れして購入した時、(その時は猫柄リングノートでした。)普段中々ノートを使いきれなかったのですが、最後まで書く事ができました。可愛いし、ペンはもちろん鉛筆との相性も良い紙なので書く意欲が湧くのだと思います。ちなみに中の紙はリサイクルとは思えないくらい綺麗です。今回は糸綴じタイプを購入してみました。日本製品の様に完璧な仕様ではありませんが、丈夫で魅力たっぷりなノートです。お値段が高いですが、大事に使うのであれば問題無い範囲かと思います。
