Ok, maybe I bought it a little late, but I am glad I have it now.My husband suffers nausea when he sees any blood. Sometimes he even faints. That being said, if anybody at our home has any blood-related accident (even myself) I have to act quickly and manage the situation. Having this tourniquet medical kit makes the process much easier to manage. This kit is small and has all the necessary tools (Tourniquet, Compression Bandage, Medical Gloves, Triangular, Emergency Blanket ) also very affordable which I like.

So glad I bought this thing back when I did. I was traveling to work one morning and there was a bad accident up ahead. A motorcyclist collided with 2 other vehicles and was in bad condition. The ripped off bumper of one of the cars ended up stabbing and impaling the side of the motorcyclist's left leg going rupturing an artery as he went over the debris from the 2 car collision. Luckily there was a nurse on the scene when it happened but no had any material or bandages to help stop the bleeding on this guy's leg. They were asking everyone who passed by if they had any first aid kits. Then I remembered I had this tourniquet Kit kit in the back of my car. I bought this for my own personal emergency but it couldn't be of better use until now so I gave it to the lady and it apparently helped a lot until the ambulance arrived. I look back on this item so reluctant I bought it and kept it in my car cuz it along with the nurse may have saved that guy's leg or even his life.

Again these were just back ups to my main stuff. Have tested and they seem to be fine. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

The kit isn't a bad kit but I have a few issues with it. First the tourniquet isnt a real Cat TQ (the time stamp shouldn't be a sticker, and on the back of the plastic it should have manufacturers info), it works but I'm not sure I would use it for anything other than demonstrating how to use a TQ. The Triangular bandage is a thin gauze type bandage instead of a cloth one. The Israeli bandage is vacuum sealed so I haven't opened it, but it seems like the best piece of this kit.

All the other stuff included seems pretty cheap but fair for the price. It's ok. Only major issue with it is that the CAT Tourniquest is NOT GENUINE, seems like a cheap chinese immitation. FYI. You get what you pay for.

This is a great emergency kit to keep in your car. I also am going to make sure that I always take it on my camping trips. I have a friend that lives in the country 5 miles from town and I am thinking about giving him one. It could save a life.

I bought this to make my IFAK into a trauma kit. The TQ and compression bandage seem solid and well packaged. The items are large and take up a bit of space but not too bad. I'm glad to add these to my kit.

Thank god I haven't had to use any of them for injury, but did first responder training with them and they do work perfectly. Good quality. Good deal.
